they are the same for purposes and use sake..2500-2500a...use same bins and loaders etc.....but all receivers are different, even if they are the EXACT same make/models...they all react differently to different things..and u were given the pansat home site link above , so use it...U will learn much more there, than here..
ali baba : 2500 and 2500A have the most number of clones, hidden clones and problems because you have bought a clone thinking you have bought the real Pansat. I suggest therefore, thet you use one of the following sites to get your information and BINs. The BINs should be clonesafe and they end with a T. The latest is 288T. If you are not scanning 61.5W or 148W and not scanning BEV, then use 287T and not 288T. Always use the BL1.4 updater for uploading to your receiver.
One last thing on the Bins ending with "T". While Chancy identifies his bin with a "T" at the end, this designation is comonly used to Identify Bins with Tivo Codes and not necesarily clone safe bins. Make sure when you download one of these that the description of the bin actually says it's clone safe and the author who 99% of the time is Chancy... He does Identify his bins with "T", but so does BL to identify Bins with Tivo codes, so please be careful.
