Is there a function on any receiver which can turn to another channel automatically through timer? For example: I'm recording channel 144 right now. Can I program the receiver to change to channel 140 at 3:30am at night, while I'm sleeping? I've tried the 'wake up' timer function but that only works if the receiver is off. It doesn't work when the receiver is on. I need the receiver to stay on channel 144 and then turn to channel 140 at 3:30am, by itself. Instead of me waking up in the middle of the night to change the channel manually. Is this possible on any receiver that you know of? I have a Pansat 2500 clone.
Say there Jay,im going mad franticaly pushing buttons tryng to figure how you preselect a program and could use a little further info on how this is acomplished.I'v had this thing for years and never seen any function that allows you to do that.
I cant find any info on that problem. I am thinking you cant do it with that receiver. I can with my viewsat platinum I know. here is thread with some info and a fix for the EPG
