Reset to factory settings, loaded 283T and when I checked it still showed one key. I was almost going to give up when i tried the "Set Deafult Key". The receiver went into autoroll and came out working. Lo and Behold all the key entries were there!! |

I have a Fortec lifetime ultra thas was clone to a PANTECDVB. In the system information shows: Fortec 2.84q, Boot Ver 6.0, Feb. 14 2006. I have read a lot of stuff but i haven't find a clue on what's happening with the receiver. I follow the steps that everybody do, but it shows only Nagravision. If i select it, then appear another image asking me for the Provider ID(00 01), the Key number (00) and the Key (which i don't have). When i press exit several times a scrambled or bad channel sign appear. I can see the free channels such as NASA and DNFYI, ONPPV, but i can't see the channels on 110 and 119. The guide works perfectly. Some people told me that if Nagravision 2 doesn't appear that indicates that the receiver is no longer usable. Other people told me to install the 284t (i don't know how and what that is. what do i need to connect my computer to the box? if i have to.) Please I need your sincerely help. I'll appreciate it. Then do a Blind Scan and enter current keys. However, I would recommend that you load 284t which is currently rolling in keys fine. Either way you are going to need to reconfigure your antenas and do blind scan. |
