Hey my satellite is working just fine and i can watch the channels just fine, but for some reason when ever i watch a channel there's this black thing that covers most of the screen. i can't see anything. does anyone know what the problem might be? i own a p*nsat 2700
i already checked that. all the local channels look fine and nothings wrong. it all started right after i put in the new keys. when i access the menu of my p*nsat it looks fine. they only time there is a black thing on my screen is when i try to watch channels. also my tv is quite new. its only around 2 yrs old.
LMAO, I 'm sure reputable faces in this community can help you, they have helped everyone, might i suggest try getting a haircut if ur hair is in ur face, LOL
Hey blah I think it's your TV settings not your receiver. Try this,disconnect your satellite receiver. Connect a set of Rabbit Ears to your TV or long piece of coaxial cable, now pull up your menu on your TV & check your Parental Control Settings.}
I had that happen with a tv I had. It's the TV itself. You can try to either connect your STB using either the S-Video, RCA or Coax. You'll need to see which one works. But it is the tv and it's the parental controls.
yea i hooked up rabbit ears and everything works fine. i even tried dvd and vdr( old skool ). the only time this happens is when i use th e box. one guys said that i need to get a new box whereas another person said that i can delete the bl. i don't see it anywhere on my screen tho.
Blah blah - If you have another TV you can try this with or borrow one then hook the box up before you start tinkering with the box. Make sure it is the box and not somethign else.
