Since a couple of days back I am not getting 119W signals at all. Checked dish allignment, receiver settings, diseqc, and cable all are fine. 61.5W is perfectly ok and even have switched diseqc postions between the two dishers with no luck. I've Viewsat Platinum. What could be the problem?
Pegg....based on your explanation and your testings, there must be a problem with your LNB, you also said that cables are ok, based on my experience if you have moisture on the connections or Diseqc you will have problems with your signal...
So many different possibilities hard to tell from given info I assume you got 2 different dishes
One or more possible problems - You accidentally changed settings in antenna set-up - DISEqC got damaged - Bad Crimp or wire - Dish slightly moved - maybe was not set-up right in first place
What i will try: go straight from 119 LNB to receiver by-passing DISEqC and see if you can get it to work e.g. use a coax coupler instead of switch (NO SPLITTERS)
Try a hard reboot, then switch channels, after you have signal, wait for autoroll then watch tv.works for me when this happens.Sometimes it doesn't receive signal after you turn it on,so I leave the receiver on,and just turn tv off. That way it's always catching the key rolls and tp changes, and always ready to watch tv.
I am having the same probem except, I don't have a signal at all. We had bad weather yesterday and the signal was going in and out. I uploaded the new bin 290 file. I didn't have any channels prior to the upload. The weather is clear today and I still do not have any channels. I disconnected the satellite cable from the back of the box and waiting about 5 minutes before I plugged it back in. I also tried to do a blind scan and all of the other scans. I get a message that the transponder is not found? Can anyone help to diagnose my issue?
