Immigration to Canada is based on a point system, obtained with your education, qualifications and job experience. Points are good enough for immigration, but in Canada, they are not good enough to get a job in your field. Amazing, how the credentials that qualify you to come to Canada are the same credentials that don't qualify you for your profession in Canada. The reason is, Canada only wants immigrants to do the labor jobs - pizza delivery, driving taxis, factory work etc. 7. Out Of Control Cost Of Living. From rent, to utility bills, to shopping, to phone, internet and cable bills, to gas, to car insurance, to eating out, to basically anything you have to pay for or buy, the cost of living in Canada has become astronomical. Recent immigrants are astonished as to how expensive everything is. It is estimated that compared to most countries around the world, the cost of living in Canada is on average five times greater. 6. Health Care Crisis. Practicing physicians in Canada are in a shortage, 1 in 4 Canadians cannot get a family doctor. Canadian doctors are leaving to move permanently to the United States. Statistics Canada and the Canadian Medical Association both have identified that for every 1 American doctor that moves to Canada, 19 (nineteen) Canadian doctors move to the United States! Doctors in Canada are overworked and underpaid, and there is a cap on their salaries. 5. Very High Taxes. Yes, you have the GST, the PST, totaling 15%, on practically everything you purchase and many other taxes taken out of our weekly paycheck. You have to pay a whopping amount to the government, out of your hard earned salary, so that the government can turn around and give it to beer drinking, hockey watching welfare bums. Fair? It does not matter, it's Canada. 4. Money Hungry Government. Canadian Embassies around the world lie to foreigners, painting this picture that Canada is Utopia, because they want them to come to Canada. Why? Because foreigners bring money! So after being deceived, these foreigners come. They must bring with them at least $10,000. Canada has an immigration quota of 250,000 per year. So please do the math, 250,000 multiplied by $10,000 each equals a whopping 2.5 Billion dollars that Canada gains from immigrants every year. 3. No Culture. Unlike almost every other country in the world, Canada has no culture. Actually American culture is what dominates Canada. When was the last time you had some 'Canadian' food? There are no Canadian traditions and there is no national identity. What does it even mean to call yourself a 'Canadian'. . .nothing really. People living in Canada, still identify themselves with the country they 'originally' came from. 2. Worst Weather. Yes, Canada has the worst weather conditions of any country in the world. Freezing cold temperatures, snow, ice, hail, winds, storms etc. From the Prairie provinces to the Maritimes, from the Territories to southern Ontario, the weather is so horrific and disgusting that many Canadians leave Canada simply because of this reason alone. 1. No Jobs. Yes, coast to coast, there are no jobs. Immigrants are highly qualified (MD's, PhD's, Lawyers, Engineers etc.) but they are driving taxi cabs, delivering pizza's or working in factories. Even people with bachelors degrees from Canadian Universities cannot find jobs after graduation. This is the tragedy associated with immigration to Canada. I feel sorry for those immigrants who are stuck in Canada for the rest of their lives. It is indeed a very sad and hopeless future. Please do not believe the fancy websites made by the government of Canada or by the Canadian immigration lawyers. They are not telling you the truth. Do your own research! |

Canada gets poor marks in international health survey of doctors Canada lags far behind other countries except the United States in an international study of effective primary health care for patients released Thursday by the Commonwealth Fund. The survey of more than 6,000 doctors in seven countries gave Canada poor marks on several aspects of patient care, including wait times for tests, use of electronic medical records, doctors available after hours, multi-discipline teams to treat chronic illness and financial incentives for improving quality of care. The survey suggested Canada has a long way to go on many fronts to catch up with the other countries, which included the United Kingdom, Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia and Germany. Only 23% of Canadian doctors use electronic medical records, the lowest percentage and far behind 98 per cent in the Netherlands. Most Canadian physicians don't use computers to prescribe medications, access test results and hospital records, receive alerts about potential problems with drug doses or interactions or know when patients are overdue for essential care. Other findings include: 51% of Canadian physicians report patients face long waits for diagnostic tests, compared with six per cent in Australia. -Canada's doctors wait longest for full hospital discharge reports or don't get them at all. 47% have arrangements for after-hours care so people can avoid going to an emergency room, compared with 95 per cent in the Netherlands. Only the United States is lower than Canada at 40 per cent. 32% routinely work with multi-discipline teams and non-physicians to treat chronic illnesses, compared with 81 per cent in the United Kingdom. 41% report getting government financial incentives to improve care, compared with 95 per cent in the U.K. -Canada had the lowest rate of doctors giving plans for home care to patients with chronic diseases. -Only 27 per cent of doctors set formal targets for clinical performance, compared with 70 per cent in Germany and the U.K. Few collect information on patient satisfaction or clinical outcomes. A Canadian official acknowledged the country needs to do a lot better, especially on wait times and ensuring doctors have information technology. Take care - and better stay healthy. Come to my contry, Vietnam ... my contry patients get line to wait for surgery at least form 2 month to 6 months . If one want to get rapidly and without delay so you must have USA$$$$ for doctor . And if luckily, one will have a doctor with complte 4 years educated,if not, you will have a doctor with 1 or 2 year educated . But pepole are still ok, they don't complain (may be they don't have a right to complain)! except a big city, small town, farm ... do surgery [without doctor 4 years educated :-))] with blade and bottle alchool ... and nobody complain. If get sick, come to visit a doctor, doctor giving a patient medicine WITHOUT name (thet put medicine in bag of plastic)... So ? what's the heck |

Bronze Member Username: AvisPost Number: 18 Registered: Nov-06 | Its SAD but true, i migrate 20 years ago to Canada and year by year the health system deteriorated and it still continues just a small ex: pregnant women 20 years ago had 3-4 ultrasound, 6 years ago down to 2 ultrasound,today only 1. family Dr. its impossible to find so if you need to see a Dr. you go to the emergency room and wait 3-6 hrs most people will not go unless its serious. its really hard and sad when you think of that as I used to be proud to say I live in Canada,this is a small example regarding health there's also the French problem which is fine (the more Lang to know the better) but until you are forced to put your kids in the French system and cannot help them and when they are finished grad 6 their French or English or third Lang is not suitable for high school so where the logic? I can have more ex... but i think the picture is clear by now. |

Its still saying NO or BAD Signal.. Receiver was last night.. but keys not updating by itself.. Tuesday I entered Keys manually.. HELP ME PLEASE.. Here are the setting . I dont know if they are good.. Please tell me.. When You Press Menu > Installation > Options options read as follows: Auto Ch/TPupdate : OFF (should it be OFF or ON ) For the SYSTEM Setting . Time setting. its read as follows: GMT Usage : OFF Curren Date : 7 Dec 2006 Current Time : 9.30 a Local Offset : Atlanta Canada Summer Time : ON Wake Up Mode : OFF Sleep Mode : OFF Nalin & The One.. If possible give me some pictures how these Time Setting - Auto Ch/TpUpdate - Autoroll Options. How these above should read... May Be there is some of them whish are not well set.... Please help me YES for the UPDATEKEYS . Yesterday I Loaded the following attachment in receiver from Dss rookies... TELL me if its good .. I've been away for 6mths and alot has changed. I had Echo 6,8 and Echo 7 working with plenty of PPV's and no problems, now I have 2 PPV's and you could watch Over the Hedge so many times. Prn's better now, but I'd like to watch new movies and special events, can somebody help.......... My satelite's may be out of wack because I could only use Aspect ratio 4, 3 seems not to be working properly. I may have to adjust my roof tops(I have 2 satelites), but I don't remember a thing. I loaded my receiver with the latest file and have it working, but I'm reading all sorts of different things. Is Autoroll suggested, is there something I'm missing.... Please Help..........} |

Silver Member Username: Destine1983Montreal, Quebec Canada Post Number: 190 Registered: May-06 | Punjabi You can try going into your menu,go to Parental Control,enter in your password under Second Pin,normally it is 0000.Then go to Autoroll Option,click ok,make sure everything but the keycode is off.So that is Keycode ON,DN AUTOROLL OFF,BEV AUTOROLL OFF,and GLOBECASTE AUTOROLL OFF. Once this is done,hit OK,then go down to Nagravision 2,and re enter the codes.Both of them.DOn't forget to hit OK after entering each set of codes.Once this is done,hit exit until you get out of the menu and onto the tv.It should work.Let me know. |
