i was just wondering if anyone could help me with my coosat 5000. i have one in my home and have the DN and BEV. I installed it myself. But i am now installing one for my father and i have had a really hard time with it. i used a birdog signal finder and i have found all the signals for DN. the 105, 110, and 119. But for some reason it is still telling me threw the receiver that i have no signal. but i know i have the dish set right. anyway if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciatted. thanks

Check your setting on antenna setup.
Are you using a Linear type LNB for Echo Star 105?

No Signal=bad alignment,LNB,Cables/connectors
Good Signal Low Q= Not Amplifying enough S=Minor tweek,Elv,Skew also cables

From What you are describing above I bet U got bad cables and/or connectors Make sure U use RG-6 Quad shield with good crimps if you are doing installation yourself

But Like LK said above could be either one or all
cables, switch, keys, receiver antenna/dish settings...check them out
