I have a viewsat extreme and im getting all channels but for ppv i only have one channel,#502, i used to have 5 i do blind scans and everything and it wont come back, any advice?
I have a problem with PPV. Although, I receive most of PPV chanels, but after about 10 minutes on a single channel, the channel starts to fade out and displays a message "Scrambled or no Signal". But when I swithch back to other channels, they all work fine and when I go back to the same PPV channel, I can see the picture again!!! The channel lasts for another 10-15 minutes and again fades away. This only seem to happen with the PPV channel and none of the other channels have this problem.
I am using a Pansat 2500.
This has nothing to do with the weather as it is mostly clear when this happens. But the symptoms are very similar to when the weather gets bad, but only for the PPV channels???
and dish may need to be realigned slightly if the cable, connections or switch don't resolve it..
Because U say it ONLY happens with PPV's, that is more of an indication of a bad dish alignment, that needs a slight adjustment...but the other possibilities mentioned are easy cheap simple fixes too..
if U have 2 LNB's, flip flop the cables and antenna receiver settings, and see what happens..
hello i have a 3ft dish i have it on 119 now thanks a million you guys who help us it was very easy to find fulling youll instructions so i need youll help again i have two seperate lnb i need 110 two so how must i connect the two together to get both signal on one big dish because the small one on roof top only picks up 40 percentsometimes i dont get no signal at all so i want to know its possible to get 110 on same dish .pllleeese help.
tie/connect another LNB to the present one (this is called a Poormans dish and is simple and cheap) and do some VERY minor dish aligning adjustments, and run the cables to a disque switch (same ports as below) and then to your receiver, and input antenna/dish settings into the receiver
settings... LNB type - standard freq-11250 119- disque port-#1, 110-port#2 power on scan all 22-off etc
