I do think that there is tons of info out there that are on different sites than this....I didn't think what the one guy was doing was that bad. But if the majority of the members do than I am sorry. I was just voicing an opinion. On that LK I didn't mean to upset you or anyone else
He happens to be the most senior in Satellite here
In that case just change DISEqC 119 to port-1 110 to port-2 LNB to standard or Universal depending on type of LNB But if you don't have signal of 70% do what I told you dish, wires, crimps, switch etc. General check
I just came down with that ear, eye, mouth disease!
I would never walk into a strange place and start shooting my mouth off and then start back peddling..A man loses all credibility and respect by then!...now a young child or punk kid will do that cause he's still young and dumb, but not a mature adult with half a brain or any integrity..
Eye Tunes...i think you need to go and play with disk a little more...signal 28% u will get no picture out of it...move your disk a little more u will get a better signal....
You need to work on getting a 65% signal or better: Basic Tips 1- Make sure dish is "steady" not Moving 2- Pointing each dish to correct SAT www-satellitenut-com 3- Use Correct LNB (Circular for 61.5, 82,91,110,119 or Linear for 121, 97) 4- Try each SAT one at a time 5- Always try without DISEqC switch first WITH RECEIVER OFF 6- Use quad shield cables RG-6 with good crimps 7- Antenna set-up (usually 2 items LNB types and port assigning) 8- Use Latest Bin with current keys/key auto roll www-dsscommunity-com "Register free"
Eye was your setup working before? If you are changing dish orientation and your signal is not moving from 28%, your problem is not the alignment (at least not before you moved it). The problem was your box. You needed to shut it off from the back and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. Then you next step was to verify configurations. Then you swtich. Then cables and last would have been alignment. Once you messed with the alignment, now unless you have a meter to check the alignment you are going to have a hard time setting it back up.
