A few questions. What sattelite is GC on? Do I need another dish to get it? I already have 2 dishes...one for Echo 8/10 and Echo 7 and one for Nimiq 82 and 91. I'm thinking I probably need a motorized dish for everything.
I flashed the xtreme file. Now all I'm getting is a blue screen with good strength and quality. I can't locate the code changer. What did I do wrong? I'm thinking that it's autorolling a new code but I've been waiting a long time. I'll give it another 10 or 15 minutes then I'm going back to the other file.
Ok...I put the previous bin back and I'm good to go again. The other bin only had 6 items on the Installation screen. 1.Antenna setup 2. Channel scan 3.Parental Control 4. Time Setting 5.Receiver Upgrade and 6. Factory Default. It didn't have 7. Code. And I have that on the bin I just reloaded. What's up with the new bin? Anyway...I'm watching TV again.
The GC fix is down cause the GC keys changed and the autoroll isn't working with either the Satpro or Viewsat, the ONLY 2 receivers that released GC bins..
nope...new keys are NOT available to anybody...yes they could be manually input, if we had them...I haven't seen 1 site post GC keys in 6 months!...and U would need working GC bins, which we don't know now, if the latest bins will work, cause no keys...catch 22..
I don't know about anyone else but when I loaded that bin it did not provide anyplace to put in a code on my xtreme. It only had six items on the installation page. Item 7: Code..was missing.
don't worry people it's better for us that GC keeps changing keys. The reason is coders will figure out the pattern of the key change and than we will have auto roll that actually works. Sat pros claims that we will be back up very soon

No LK. You should read what they wrote.. They didnt say that GC works on the bin, just that the bin will handle GC.. dont know why they did that when the previous bin could of worked too.
bane..I NEVER said Coo*lsat had working GC bins NOW, where are U getting that?...my 2nd post is VERY clear about needing the opskeys file aka GC keys, when talking about GC bins.....
