Are those the only channels that downloaded after the scan? I don't understand what you are trying to say. But if you are waiting for signal, confirm you have to latest keys. Once you have the latest keys, you should not receive the "Waiting for Picture" dialog box. What switch are you using? What's your setup. You need to include all this information when asking for help. Otherwise all we can do is guess. |

When i got back home from being away a week, i went into Nagra 2 to update the key and found FFFF..in all the fields. There wasnt even a DN provider entry. I had to create one with 0101, but it allows only only one key to be created. This case persists even after uploading 281T. Im getting around this by entering the active key and changing the key to either 00 or 01 as appropriate. Do you know how to setup for two keys? |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 5087 Registered: Jan-06 | Its either bad installation antenna settings in receiver...or a hardware issue such as cables, connections, disque switch...or bad 110 LNB alignment or bad LNB....I will guess and say U have a disque switch going bad..try changing cables around on switch ports and corresponding settings in receiver...see if one of the other sats develops the same problem and 110 gets better.. |

I had done that, switched cables around, changed lnb, new switch. same issue. what's puzzling is that sometimes I could jump straight from a 7 or 1.2 channel to 8.1 and it works until u change channel again. also, my ant setup, the TP changes, someyimes I check it and I have full signal, sometimes nothing at all. |

BTW...if the cable run to the 110 (echo 8.1) is longer than the rest, then that will cause that problem too..a inexpensive "in line amp" from rat shack will cure that...and its always best to have the switch close as possible to the receivers, and out of the weather elements (use a tupperware container)...switches go often, but ONLY cost $5 ...and NEVER disconnect LNB's cables when receiver is powered ON, U will damage the LNB.. |

And how. I was hoping to do the, look for one sat, idea, using the unit as a sat finder. not sure how to though. |
