In a bad chain of events just now My cable that came with my pansat 3500 had a end come off. I need to find info on what pin's the wires go so i can repair it. I found some wiring diagrams on a NULL MODEM cable but, want to be sure its the correct way as to not harm the receiver. The end that came off looks to have only 3 wires that were sodered to pin's. also only 3 pin's look like they were ever used. I looked at the other end inside the plug and EVERY pin has a wire soldered to it so it confused me a little as I found a diagram the read that only 3 wires are used so......I need help....If anyone knows what 3 pins the red, brown, and yellow wires go to i can just solder them back into place.
