The uploader 3. Instruction on how to upload. Read a thread or two in the appropriate thread there to see what problems people face when they upload a new BIN. YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE BIN APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR RECIEVER. Once you have got the latest BIN in your receiver, you can manually input the keys and get going. Next time you post a question, try and let people have your receiver name and the BIN you have in it. |

Ariza 700 / 750cx -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ariza 700 / 750cx changing Keys Go to menu, Go down to parental controls, enter.....then press "i" buttoin on remote control, then press 2004. that should get you into the coding system menus. Go to nagra 2, go dwn to key 00, look for Dishnetwork a top. Type in key 00. If you type in 8 number for key 00 and 8 for key01, it mite not work. Try that first. Then if its dosn't work, type in all 16 numbers in key 00 (in the two rows), that worked for me. Make sure to press OK button on remote after you type in each row, to save. Then just exit till you see the picture. the BEV keys are for Candian SAT.. the DN are for US SAT..if you are wacthing DN only and you don't have to input BEV keys....just enter the DN keys........if you have both DN and BEV than you enter both DN and BEV keys... BEV keys go in provider id 0901... DN keys go in provider id 0101.. Hope this help... |

Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 1063 Registered: Jun-06 | Topoli and others. There have been difficulties with new keys - both DN and BEV. There are so many BINs, it is hard to say why. So I will generalise. 1. Most latest BINs have a good EPG. The new BIN tires to load EPG and fails and freezes. So set your clock and time zone correct. 2. Try to keep your efforts on the channels which come in readily and others will follow. 3. If you have to enter keys manually, then set autoroll off, do a "set default key". This will bring some old trashed keys. Then enter the keys manually in Nagravision 2. 4. For those who are not aware, DN is provider ID 0101 and BEV is provider ID 0901. Globecast is C101 (although this only academic right now). 5. When you enter keys manually, enter 16 (2 digits each) numbers for Key 00 and same for key 01. SAVE each time. 6. Always try to wipe out temporary memories internally, by switching off power supply at the back and turning it on again after 40 seconds. 7. Don't get angry if somebody says you did something wrong. Sometimes you are wrong and sometimes the poster is wrong. Just persevere with the above instructions. 8. Active and non-active words for keys are soemwhat redundant. I have stopped using these words for posting keys. 9. If you have autoroll latest BIN, you can maximise the advantage by never swithcing off the receiver. If your receiver is off and the keys change 2-3 times, you are very likely to get "Bad or Scrambled signal" |

Use the follow instructions below to enter the new keys in your Sonicview 1000 manually: The instructions are the same for DISH (0101) & BEV (0901) If you are using Keymaster , Key00 is key86 (Lines 10 & 11) and key01 is key96 (Lines 20 & 21) 1) Press MENU, <system> <user> and turn Autoroll to "OFF" 2) Press EXIT 3) Press right arrow to <entertainment> and press 7890 4) A CODE option will appear, press OK 5) Press the right arrow until you get to CAS <nagravision> 6) Press the down arrow to the sat line. Press right arrow until you get to your desired sat DISH <01> or BEV <09> 7) key00 is active, highlight line number "10" then press the right arrow and start entering the keys (first 8 sets of digits) example: 1C 3A 29 13 61 5E C6 21 Now highlight line number "11" then press the right arrow and start entering the keys (second 8 sets of digits) example: C3 41 2A 31 5C 2B CD A1 If key01 was active, you would highlight line number "20" then press the right arrow and start entering the keys (first 8 sets of digits) example: 21 A4 C4 23 40 AC 1B 3A Now highlight line number "21" then press the right arrow and start entering the keys (second 8 sets of digits) example: 11 C2 41 A1 6D 2D 33 22 9) Press EXIT - Click "OK" on "YES" to save the changes NOTE: The example keys are just that, examples The active key is key00, Edit (Line 10) 1C 3A 29 13 61 5E C6 21 (Line 11) C3 41 2A 31 5C 2B CD A1 If the active key was key01, We would have edited (Line 20) 21 A4 C4 23 40 AC 1B 3A (Line 21) 11 C2 41 A1 6D 2D 33 22 ONLY the active keys have to be changed, if you prefer to change both sets of keys, go right ahead. I looked at Lyngsat and found out that those channels are encypted only by Nagravision. On my pansat I have only Nagravision 1 and 2 option. All other channels are working fine which are encrypted by Nagravision 2. any suggestions? |

There is only Nagravision 2. The ID for DN is 0101 and for BEv it is 0901. I suggest you do some reading at one of the following sites, and make sure you read and download instructions for uploading to your receiver. You will need Winzip.exe as well, which you can download separately from You will also need a straight DB9 F/F cable - difinitely NOT a null modem. Best of luck |
