Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 5435 Registered: Jan-06 | This is a c/p from one of the most well known coders in the world.. The ExtremView Magnum is now faster and as stable if not more stable than ANY other unit I have tested. I have 14 other FTA boxes I test! Team Reliable has outdone themselves on this bin. I guess this is why TDG has been bashing Magnum so much, THEY ARE REALLY WORRIED! The latest news is even more fun.. Not only has TDG been told to bash it, Viewsat corporate is apparently telling dealers, that if they carry Magnums, they will lose their dealer agreement. I think Viewsat is scared shitless of the Magnum. I say screw that Viewsat dealer agreement, ExtremeView will be happy to sign you as a dealer with them. The units are cheaper, and they don't tell you what you can and can't sell.. |

Bronze Member Username: ThemangodPost Number: 95 Registered: Oct-06 | hello best cheap buy is Viewsat Lite hands down, that or captiveworks 600s p low price good support great buy. viewsat lite 166mhz conx 16mbs ram (soft blind scan) captiveworks 600s 133mhz conx 16mb ram (soft blind scan) LK is a lair extremeview is a 200mhz cpu same as viewsat ultra Neusat 6000 that is only 100$ extremeview uses the same speed of CPU ALL new FTA boxes coming to NA will have no less then 200mhz. Extremeview has 32mbs ram which is HALF Viewsat Ultra. LK is from dsscntral where they are told to push extremeview for EFTA the store that owns dsscentral but they lie, extremview is a great receiver but faster then others and more stable no. they have had lots of downs. lots. lies. buy a viewsat lite or captiveworks 600s |
Bronze Member Username: MonstPost Number: 98 Registered: Jun-06 | If you can expand your budget little bit then go for Viewsat Ultra all the way. |
Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 5467 Registered: Jan-06 | EFTA does not own dsscentral!...never has nor ever will...kate is ignorant and just makes up these BS stories ....in fact dsscentral sells many receivers including the VS lite and ultra, but many there will recommend the Extremeview over the VS ...the Extremeview is cheaper and more powerful, no remote required, faster channel changing, better EPG, faster scans, and full 100 warranty compared to the VS, which will/is no longer be making the Platinum which the Lite uses for its software......and kate jumps around and was telling all to buy Clones, then sonicview, then Extremeview, now the Viewsat LITE but is providing bogus info about the VS ULTRA..she flip flops and can't compare apples to apples..and has NO clue, as U can tell by her post above mine... I don't care which U buy, thats your choice I just provide U the specs, real info , the truth, and reviews by best coders in the world.....apparently kate thinks she know more than them...hell, she originally recommended evryone buy cheap fake imitation CLONES!...read all her few posts, U'll see she is a wacko and constantly contradicts herself..just like her nick and username..kate , The mangod...now is that a fruit or not?...really!....thats a complete NUT case! |
Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 5477 Registered: Jan-06 | From Viewsat parent company...[link removed] The VIEWSAT ULTRA is our most powerful and exciting Free To Air Receiver yet!. We've added a faster processor (200 MHz), double the memory of the Xtreme (32 Mb SD RAM), and a USB communications port...Ultra specs Fully MPEG-2 & DVB Compliant Input Frequency 950-2150MHz 200 MHz Connexant Processor 32 Mb SD RAM Supports 7 Day EPG (Electronic Program Guide) From kate... LK is a lair extremeview is a 200mhz cpu same as viewsat ultra Neusat 6000 that is only 100$ extremeview uses the same speed of CPU ALL new FTA boxes coming to NA will have no less then 200mhz. Extremeview has 32mbs ram which is HALF Viewsat Ultra. Now Viewsat even states the Ultra ONLY has 32 mb ram...but kate says Ultra has double the Extremeview which also has 32mb ram, so in my book kate is saying 32x2 = 64 mb ram is what the Ultra has...again she gives untruths and BOGUS info.. |
