Keys have not changed. Key emu is the first option when you go into the autoroll options. You cannot turn this off. You need to turn DN or BEV Autoroll off, if you have loaded the latest bins.
PRFRMNJ really,long time ago i have a old bin it say key emu on/off,and some other bin they say auto option..and when the time the autoroll don't work i turn off key emu and enter new keys and watch tv....or maybe i remember something out,getting old now..lol
There are people who jump and get a new BIN and then advise others to do it. The fact is that the 280T, 281T, and 282T although said to be autoroll version, have been causing a lot of problems for some. There is also the issue of Key morphing, the latest example is the morphing of 5th number (DB) of Key 00 of DN, which even with 282T on a FLU has been an irritant to say the least. Some heavyweight advisors seem bent upon making you load the latest autoroll version; but as I said earlier it does not always work (282T on a FLU). Now there is a 283T published which is supposed to fix autoroll problem. If you are having the slightest problem with an autoroll BIN and particularly key morphing, I have suggested a solution. The problem will manifest as 'waiting for picture' and 'scrambles channel' suddenly. The safe solution is as follows: 1. Turn receiver off and on. If it works fine. 2. If it does not work, go into Menu/Parental contoll, 2nd PIN. 3. For key entry, first do 'Set default Key', then turn autoroll off. 4. Then go into Nagravision 2 and insert BOTH Key 00 and Key 01 and save 5. Exit, Exit Exit and it should work. If not, turn off at the back and turn on. If the problems persists in spite of all this, then do as above, but turn Key off, before key entry, then after entering keys, exit once only, turn key on, go back into Nagravision 2, check keys and save once more, then exit, exit, exit. I will wait 2-3 days, study the reaction of people who have tried the 283T, try it myself with autoroll on, before I endorse that it is safe to keep autoroll on with the 283T. At present, for the quite a few keeping it on is making their life miserable. Sometimes you get advise to wait for 1 hour for 'the autoroll to kick in'. I do not see any reason why you have to miss 1 hour of TV, when you can use the above method and have TV in one minute.
No problem Minn! Yeah, I did that once and went on hours trying to figure out what the problem was. Then I change that back to on and next thing you know, I'm watching tv. LOL
Nalin, I have the same problem. Some of my channels are scrambled and some of them with waiting for pircute. I will do exactly as you said and will post the result tomorrow. One more thing, I have a motorized 30" dish. On 110 I get very few channels/ I tried to blind scan but it did not work. some of the channels have 60/70 percent signal and some channels loose that signal to 15/20 percent. my other sats like 97, 118, 121 are working fine. few months back 110 was working excellent and i had all the ppv channels working, but now just few local channels. Would you please suggest me the solution. I am located close to seattle area. thanks
i hate to be a pain but nothing ive tryed has wrorked..i dont think my pansat has an autoroll ..my pansats systems imformation x-87bl API:1.43c_EUbX Boot ver:6.2 i put the new codes they dont change and still no pic.. i miss my tv
David..if you have a legitimate Pansat reciever go to Future-FTA and log in...all is there for the correct autoroll bins for your model...my suggestion is to go to factory default and start over which means going to Pansat.com and loading factory bin first then load BL bin...then blind scan and then load channels
I made a mistake and entered the new keys in Dish Provider 00 01 instead of 01 01 . and after that i entered the new keys to Dish Provider 01 01 and i didn't get any channels How i can fix this problem? do i need another keys to put in provider 00 01
I have Sonic view, I made a mistake and entered the new keys in both Dish Provider 0001 and Dish Provider 0101 and i did not get any channels Do any one know how i can fix this problem??

Hi Nalin Yesterday I promised to get back to you with the results of your formula. I have tried everything but still i have the channels scrambled and waiting for picture. I have pansat 2500 and installed bin 282. The autoroll is still not working. Do you have any other suggestion. Also do you have any suggestion for 110 that i described yesterday. Is their any other specialist who have better suggestion for my problems. (please read my other posting dated October 30). thanks

Attention to all people who own Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra! The new bin 283T by chancysand was released 3 or 4 days ago. Download that bin into your receiver, and then you don't have to enter keys manually. It fixes the autoroll for Dishnetwork and BellExpressVu. Download that bin and you don't have to ask for keys. Nalin Nyda.....I need your help..... I have 2 receivers a Pansat 2500 clone and a Fortec Lifetime ultra both connected to 3 dishes with dual output LNBs through 2 diseqc, the problem is if I am watching Echo 3/Ku and my kid turns on the second T.V. to watch Cartoons on Echo 7/KU then I would lose the signal on Echo 3/ku and sometime I would lose the signal even if we both are watching different channels on the same SAT. (e.g. Echo 7/ku). I did switch the cable to different positions for ex. Echo 7/ku on the first Diseqc no.2 and the second one on no.3 and so on in order to have a diff. position but The problem still persists. Someone mentioned to turn off the LNB on one Receiver, I searched both receivers but I couldn't find a way to turn off the LNB. What do you recommend? I appreciate your help.
