I'm guessing I need to download some software first . I need to do this so I can change my bin # . Apperently the clone safe bin is now 281T and on my reciever its 279T . It was working fine until last night then it went down .So my question is does any one know what software I need and where I can download it from so when I connect my reciever to my pc it recognizes it? But I am told that globecast is going down. You probably have this set up anyway. My freinds who were using T5 are gone for the 6 months Diwali to Easter stay in India. If you have already made your money in Canada, that is a good option too!! I have been told that compared to Delhi and Mumbai, the Kolkotta and Dhaka real estate prices are lower, and which metropolis in the world, would you be able to get a three bedroom three bathroom home for under US $100,000? |

Anyway , you do have a point about South India - except that one of the world biggest project is a refinery project in Jamnager by the Ambanis, and Gujarat is the fastest growing economy in India. The fact is that India is growing very fast and property anywhere in India is going up unbeleivably fast. |

As a result, now when I enter the new keys - the darn thing shows the Green bars to 92% (signal strenght), then i says "Scramble Chanel". One thind I know for sure - the AutoRoll is "off". I do not know what to do to get it going. The good news is that I also have VS extrem which works fine. Can someone help me ! Do I have to download something like "bin" ... or something from ww.dsscentral. .... to get it going ? |

Obviously U haven't told us ALL the info since U must have more than 1 dish and a switch also..and if your setup is new or this is your first attempt at receiving echo 3 and echo 7 faux..274v1 is a Pansat 2700 clone bin...ONLY use bins that start with X-87BL..current bin is 274, not 274v1...U have much reading to do...go to a reputable Dss site....they all have the manuals, setup guides and latest bins.. |

Silver Member Username: NydasPost Number: 771 Registered: Jun-06 | San: You have a clone. It had a BIN 281T. This is the correct BIN. You have two dishes and a switch and both Echo 3 and Echo 7 were running well last week. You did a factory reset. The reset could have changed the BIN to an older BIN. I doubt it, because you have a lot of channels running on Echo 3 (61.5W). However, please recheck and make sure that the BIN did not revert to an older BIN. If the BIN reverted to an older BIN you can reinstall the 281T. I do not need to go into details of this. What has really happened is that, when you did a reset your DisEqC setting for the two dishes, which had been set to two different ports, got reset to the same port number, which happens to be the number for Echo 3 connection. Go to Menu/Installation/Antenna setup, and against Echo 3 you will see a DisEqC number. Let us say this is 1. If you scroll down to Echo 7 you will see the SAME DisEqC number. Go in and change this to another number and you will see signal with another number, - two, three, or four in this example. Accept the OTHER number where you are seeing signal strength, e.g. if you see a signal strength at 3, accept that. Then do a total or Blind scan '" whatever pleases you. The underlying fact is that you are always scanning the satellite you are physically connected to, not what the software is saying. |

As a result, now when I enter the new keys - the darn thing shows the Green bars to 92% (signal strenght), then i says "Scramble Chanel". One thind I know for sure - the AutoRoll is "off". I do not know what to do to get it going. Can someone help me ! Do I have to download something like "bin" ... or something from ww.dsscentral. .... to get it going ? |

C00Lsat: Key 00 - The first 8 numbers go in line 10 and the next 8 numbers go into line 11. Key 01 - The first 8 numbers go in line 20 and the next 8 numbers go into line 21. |

Silver Member Username: NydasPost Number: 776 Registered: Jun-06 | A Pansat 2500A 282 file is floating around. It is supposed to fix BEV autoroll problem. An Ariza 700 282 and 283 file is also out, probably for the same reason. The 283 is said to fix EPG problems. I know that the Pansat 282 file does not have the official approval of the people at BL's official site. If you have followed this thread, you will find that autoroll in most of the BINs is somewhat of a problem to a few people. These latest fixes are meant to try and improve the autoroll function and to fix some problems. If you are not too bothered about autoroll, you can keep it off and manually input the keys. If you are BEV fan and want to try the 282 or 283, you do it at your risk and for one reason only - to improve the autoroll function, or the EPG function. |
