i had to load a new bin onto my pansat. never done that before so it was a challenge.

but now i am missing quite a few channels, espn, mtv, discovery.

anyone have them? the point of all of this for me was to get espn and michigan/michigan state.

Yeah, it's your satellite selection. You wanna aim at the 119 bird, most likely your aiming at 110 right now. Like I said aim at the 119 then do your Blind Scan.

well, ive never changed my birds and they worked before with the older bin till it went down.

my pansat does not have a "blind scan" option, i have

sattellite scan
tp scan
network scan
advanced scan

What model Pansat? What Satellite/Echo are you using?

pansat 2300 echo 7 and echo 8.

any idea why i am missing espn? on my previous bin that i had paid someone to do it, it was channel 140.

now channel 140 amongst others does not even come up.

I'm not sure about the 2300, try a advanced scan. You got nothing to lose, but you may get double channels.

Try deleting all your channels and shut the receiver down (turn the switch off at the back) for a few minutes. Turn it back on, do a satellite scan on whatever birds you are aimed at and you should get all channels.

i got it with 7 minutes left in the first quarter so thanks for your help. i'll try that solution you offered later.

Hey Guys

Use Advanced Scan is the same as Blind Scan.
See if your mast is level. (both sides)
Check Dish Alignment.
