Need help with my Mintek MDP-1730!!!! Thanks

After trying to unlock my Mintek MDP-1730 DVD player, I have no access to the "Preferences" menu anymore. Does anybody could tell me how to repair that?
This happened after I tried the hack made for another model Mintek MDP-1750.
