Both BEV and Dish have started what is called morphing the keys. Long story short this will stop autoroll on FTA and most (if not all) blockers for plastic. For the time being turn off autoroll and enter the keys manually. This can be done for plastic as well. Current keys are posted in the proper forums, but you can expect to see both providers rolling quite often.
2. use your REMOTE control... Below is a ficticious example when you already have the KEYs to update KEYS using your REMOTE CONTROL:
Having a Computer "opkey" File: 1. D/L the latest opkey file (usually a zip) and UNzip; remember where the unzipped file is located on your computer. 2. Power "OFF" your ViewSat and hook up the NULL MODEM CABLE between your PC and your ViewSat 3.

I have Fotec Ultra Lifetime. I downloaded bin to my PC. But i am having error when i am loading it to my reciever. It's giving me error message"STB model name is not correct" I typed "Pansat 2500" and "Lifetime Ultra" inside STB Model type but it's giving me same error.
Parm: I have posted a sulotion for you in another thread. Here is it again: Get a Black List STB updater. do the same thing you did with the other uploader. Just in this case hit the "only" button that has the word "fix" on it. No need to change or to do anything other than "browse" the bin. then click "fix". I have two fortecs and they work just fine.
If you could't find Black List STB updater let me know! HERE...
This is what you need. But first, you need to register in order to download it. Listen it is so easy to use. If you find your self stuck, come back I'll try to catch your problem and help you. GoodLuck.

T...When keys change they change for all FTA boxes not just sat cruiser or fortec or any other box. If you look in the thread that says New Keys you will find your answer. All it really takes is just a little bit of looking around!
I am not trying to be mean but if anyone just snoops around all the threads for 5-10minutes they will get 99% of their questions answered!!!!!
