I have a Pansat 2700 and going through Satellite Installation, would T-5/KU be Telstar 5? I tried hooking up the line from the LNB to receiver but not getting any signal. Would this be the best satellite to catch most asian channels(Vietnamese)?

Yes, it has VTV4. This sat is very picky therefore you need a lot of patience. Lately, the transponder that carries this channel and others has weaker signals than before, so make sure you have a 33" dish or bigger, the LNB needed for this is of the linear type (horizontal and vertical). Good luck

LNB is important. directTV or dishnet lnb wont't work.

30 inch dish should work, if you have aligned it right - I get 69% quality w/some transponders. But definitely linear lnb, or the dual polarity invacom...
