Please this thread is not meant for Pansat bashers, just those of us that want some answers.
There were many rumors going around about Pansat giving up the fight. Most of us, including me, didnt believe this as Pansat is the biggest and best known FTA company. But its strange how BOTH their sites, future-fta and al7bar have both dissapeard without any explanations whatsoever. Its been more than a week since they went down and we have heard nothing from BL or their mods, not even in IRC. So what gives?
I doubt Blacklist will just cross his arms and let Pansat go down the drain without any explanations as his reputation will disappear along with Pansat. The mods at future, who are also very respected in the community are also strangely quiet as of late. Anyone heard or read any info?

Just give it some time and maybe we'll all get lucky w/out BL help again. Just like the last time, besides who heard last from him anyways. I think he's gone MIA. You were saying something about al7bar is down, Which site? Al7bardotcom or al7bardottk? I'm using al7bar.com and it sems fine to me, just not many responses. You could also use hashhudotcom, there some pretty good feedback there. I'm not to positive about Pansat anymore, I just picked up 3 Sonicview receivers about three weeks ago and I gotta say I'm very impress with this STB. The features are 100% much better than the Pansat and the EPG is like the real deal. I have a Pansat 2500 and a 2700 at work, there o.k. but ever since I got my Soniview I'm proud to say that I'm a happy Sonicview costumer.
etorres: BL and crew were MIA since the last ECM. The only reason people were able to watch anything last week wasn't due to a fix. DN temporarily lifted the code, that's it. It was the same old bin from June. It was just a fluke.
I hate to admit this, cause I'm a big PS fan, but it is starting to look like the end of the road. BL has been MIA for a while, there never was a PS fix for the last ECM, and there's still no reliable word from or about him. And then there is the disappearance of Future and the daily promises that they'll be back online "soon", "within 24 hours" etc....
You guys are all been taken for a ride. Can't you see what's happening? You don't even Know why we were getting signal the other day? Well, let me clue you in: NASA launch a space shuttle about 2 weeks ago. About the same time it reach space and all the astraunauts settle down and began work we got signal back. Well, guess what? Not all the members were astranauts. Some were hired engineer contractors by dishnet work and other satelite providers. there mision was to go up their and reprogram the satelites in order to fully defeat stealers of their signals. You don't beleive me? Then check out my reasonning. approximately 3 to 5 days after the shuttle has landed in space we got signal back. Why because while the engineers are up their, they had to reset the signal back to the N2 in order to see if their new program works, while they do their thing. they test it for approx. a week and their results seems fine. Mission in space has complete. Their final work would then be done when they return to earth, So slowly they start to disable channels prior to their return to earth as part of their test. As you might notice, 5 days before returning we start loosing signal on our PPV and XXX. After landing yesterday morning it took them approx. 3 to 4 hours to get adjusted to the earth atmosphere. They landed approx. 6:21am. What happen at approx. 9:30 am? We totally lost all channels. Good job guys. You have done it again. now it is up to us hackers on earth or traitors to figure out what they have done and find a way to crack it.
Want more proof? we were lucky to have signal on and off for the past 3 years. Fellows my regret go out for all the astranauts who lost their lives in the 2003 Columbia space craft disinsinegration, but wasn't for that we would be in the dark a long time ago. The Isreali that was on board was an engineer specialist from the midle east whose mision was to go go up their and cripple the midlle east channels such ATN, Aljezera, Hindu, and all the rest. His mission was successfull, but like this mision, his final work would be done when he return to earth. Unfortunately, it did not happen. This cause a set back for the satelite provider as you can remember how much it cost them during that same time to convert from N1 to N2 as a part of the transformation process. That was the only reason why we were able to get signal back on a on and off basis for the past 3 years as the providers was strapped for cash, as well as they were also trying to see if they could have fix the problen from here on earth as NASA could not give them a specific time as to when they would be returing to space, and also they thought that with data sent back from the crew while in space, they might be able to cripple the illegal signal theft and stay within budget. They tried, but it was impossible as hackers and traitors have cepher their system, so they had no choice but put up the money and restart all over again.
My fellows friends and pirates, I am sad to say but this could be it. Anyway, it was good while it last. I have fun and get to see a lot of things on television that I could not see if I was only using cable. In closer, to the FTA I would like to ask all of you to bow your head and join me in a short Prayer thanking FTA and all The PIRATES that help make it happen. It was good while it last and from the bottom of my my heart I hope it comes back, although that seems to be a long shot now. Blacklist said the same shiznit before and wasn't capable of pulling through. He's still bullshitting people with his broken English. Bottom line, VS has it, Pansat doesn't.
Pansat does not have the right hardware to deal with the mapping or the future addition of more mapping procedures.its down to clocking for them.not because their slow...because of how they designed data flow.. If they build a system able to handle data differently...then yes they would have a fix..But who's gonna buy one ??
Alright alll you non-beleivers, time will tell prove me wrong and I will take back everything I said. Infact, if I am wrong I will destroy both my computer and FTA boxes. Everything I said is coming from credible source. My uncle name is Steve Maclean. Does that mean anything to all you non-beleivers. Do your research. You think what I said is coincidental, Why did we get signal back jsut days after the shuttle Atlantis left earth? Why did we lost signal just hours after the shuttle land back on earth? we lost signal just about the time after which all on borad the shuttle was able to adjust back to earth gravity and they were able to get off. Like I said before and I am saying it again, time will tell, and we will soon know who is speaking the truth and who is not.

Do you know the difference between geo-sync orbit and low earth orbit? Hint its about 22000 miles. Thats about how close your theory is from possible. Besides the birds are worked via uplink and no servicable parts are inside. Not to mention that touching it would knock it the hell out of track and aim. Go back to my space. You seem better suited to that kind of technology.
Tony Mack, not to burst your bubble, but Dish sats are in geosynchronuos orbit, which means they are located 22,000 miles up. The highest a shuttle can orbit is a little more than 300 miles, see where I'm getting?
Pansat was never a QUALITY receiver but had CONSTANT available support (not quality bins or featutes though) and simple to use...but now, Pansat has had NO support for past 4 months, so its IN THE TOILET!....it never impressed me,nor did Blacklist and his weekly redundant same old bins with no improvements...to me Pansat died months ago!...it just took 4 months for the medical examiner to make it official!

Guys Guys!! Its human that put them up there, so why do you think they cannot access them again. Beside, signals are been transmit via frequency which can be calculated base on the code you put in for example: do you know how telephone works and why that when you dial a number you always get the person woh is assign that number. Well this how it works. all ten digit is assigned a specific freqeuncy Ex #1 = 22Hz, #2 =25Hz and so on. These frequencies are calculated horizantally and vertically. every ten digit when dialed adds up to total frequency which never mathces another ten digit which that phone# unique and never equvalent to another. a little hint mor to come later

Pansats credibility died a LONG time ago!...even before the ECMs in June..slow, terrible EPG, lousy bins, no support, lying PR men, terrible coders...what more could somebody NOT want!
I dont see how they could EVER sell another box. But there will always be an idiot out there who dont read up on it first! (davidvan12yearoldgirl) For the same money, 140.00, u can get a VS! Faster processor, nice EPG, lying PR man...lol. I do think BL is a good coder though. Not saying I like him or his crappy support, but in the past years seems like he's always there. I believe he woulda come up with a fix on his own... may have taken a while, but woulda got it.
Originally they were great...cheap, simple,easy to use, one of the first FTA's, and had software for those converting from the old DTV and HU card days of watching hacked satellite TV...but Pansat ownership of the FTA market quickly faded as new competitors such as Coo*lsat and Viewsat entered the picture..now Pansat is like an old rusted, tires flattened, beaten DEAD motor, 1991 Ford escort sitting in the garage wasting space,while U got your new decent, but not extravagant, 2007 Ford Explorer (Viewsat) sitting in the driveway with new stereo and AC/heat comfortably bringing U anywhere U want to go..
