Silver Member Username: Dude123Post Number: 124 Registered: Jul-06 | To ACE Ventura and Bruce Lagasse, In order to receive signals from the satelite to your TV, a Bin file is required to be downloaded on to your receiver and a set of keys have to be entered. sometimes they change the keys, the autoroll bin file can pick up and download the keys by itself on to the receiver but for when the ecm (electronic control measurment) is in progress the bin file goes down and then some smart people get the fixes out and make another bin file for a particular receiver... so its the waiting time till some one comes up with a new file that we can all download and watch TV again... |

There isa n ECM again on most of Echo 3 (61.5 W) channells. There is quite a few channels working on 110W (Echo 8.1), more than there were before DN opened up a week ago. The keys should give you something to watch for a while. If your TV was working well yesterday , do not download any new BINs. and do not attempt to change the keys. |
