Drayton try this: In the back button turn off and on, in many ocassions. Until you enter set your language etc and you will see again signal, or check again the keys. Maybe type error is the problem.

i have pansat 2700a I am using the bin file downloaded from dsstester. the following version is displayed when I select system information option from the menu "X-87BL API:2.73c_EUbX Boot ver :6.2 12. Sep. 2006
After downloading the file I did a blind scan for echo 8.6/KU with followinf antenna set up details: LNB type single track, LNB local freq 10750(V0 10175(H), 22 KHZ ON, Diseqc 1, legacy SW none, skew -45, TP [1} 12223 v 20.000, pOSITIONER SETTing disable satellite scan all following keys: 00 7D 66 99 AF CE 3E EA 39 91 FF DA 46 5E D9 D3 BC

mc sunny i hv a pansat 3000 the last time i had updated there was an auto rollthe news keys you just gave do i hv to put it manually. how do i turn off the auto roll. pls help me. thanks,
ok i have coolsatpro4000 and should i leave the autoroll on or off???/ and do i always have to put in the new keys everyday cuz they keep changing isnt ther anyother way to change by them selves?????
sorry guys i need your help i hv a pansat 3000 and manage to turn off the auto roll but now im confuse how to manually put it the keys because there's the nagra 1 and nagra 2 as a menu. am i suppose to put in same keys both 1 and 2 or just 1? pls advise and thanks
click menu- go to parental control... second pin-0000 go to nagravision2 key00 put it key data#'s click "ok" go back up to key# change to 01 go back down to key data and enter #'s hope that helps... it's what i've had to do on a daily basis lately! UGHHH

PLUGGING IN CABLE. Make sure you plug in the cable from the dish to the receiver at the IF 13/18v INPUT. Not the ANT IN. Change the FTA to ALL just before you scan for channels. Also the wires coming from the dish to the switch should be put on the switch at the same number as you have set in your receiver. Like 119 wire goes on number 1 on the diseqc switch and the receiver has #1 for 119 in the program.
How to flash your Fortec Ultra. You can flash (load) your Ultra with this bin on top of the bin (file) you already have. It will replace it. If you read all of this you will have less questions at the end. Use a STRAIGHT THROUGH CABLE RS232C hooked up to your receiver from the computer. Take the cable off going to the LNB to be safe. If you have the year model Dec 2004 or newer you can clone it or you MAY need to use a USB to Serial cable 26-183 at Radio Shack. EPG - ELECTRONIC PROGRAM GUIDE Each time you turn the receiver ON you will be asked if you want the EPG. When you turn the receiver on. Click OK to download the EPG, this is the guide to tell you what is on TV. If you say EXIT you may not have any EPG. If you need to refresh the EPG for any reason just turn the receiver OFF & ON. Make sure the time of the day in the receiver is correct. Don't concern yourself with the Year, Month & Date. Need to be on 119 or 110 Satellite to get the EPG download.
AUTO-ROLL OPTION You can turn auto-roll ON or OFF in DN MENU then PARENTAL CONTROL then OK then to SECOND PIN then 1668 or 1010 or 0000 then down to AUTOROLL OPTIONS then OK. Side arrow will change autoroll then OK then EXIT
DISH PRO & CHANNEL MASTER & CHANNEL LIST. A Dish Pro LNB has one or two eyes in one casing with a black label saying Dish Pro. If you use a channel list you need one for your Dish Pro. Or you can convert the channel list to Dish Pro with Channel Master. If you scan for your channels with your DP then you are OK.
CHANNEL ORDER & DUMMY SATELLITE If your channels are in a sid (channel) number order and not in the order you numbered them to be, do this. Put the word DUMMY as the first Satellite in the Satellite list with Channel Master. In CM right click on the word SATELLITE then click on ADD SATELLITE. Put DUMMY for the name then click OK. Now you need to move the word DUMMY from the bottom of the Satellite list to the top so it's the first one. Also you should change the word ECHO to DISH on each Satellite you are getting. Right click on the Satellite you want to change then click on PROPERTIES then change ECHO to DISH. You can save it in CM under Fortec Lifetime Ultra.> EXTENDED EPG & TRANSPONDER AUTOROLL< will only work if satellite is named Echo 110
HOW TO SET DEFAULT KEY FOR THE 274t bin. MENU, PARENTAL CONTROL, OK, down to SECOND PIN put in 0000 or 1010 or 1668 then OK then down to SET DEFAULT KEY then OK.
HOW TO DO A FACTORY SETTING FOR THE 274t bin MENU, down to FACTORY SETTING then OK. When you do this you will clean out your channels.
SWITCH A SW21 switch will not work with the Ultra. That is a DN switch. You will need a SW22 to work with FTA. You can also use a DiSEqC switch. This switch is a good one but some receivers have trouble with it switching. A trouble free switch is a 22kHz switch. It will switch every time and will not give you any trouble. But only has two connectors for two LNB's. So if you use more then two LNB's I would go for the SW22 switch.
CHANGE PIN NUMBER The pin numbers are 0000, 1010 or 1668. If you changed your pin number and lost it or just can't get in with the pin number you have, 1668 will over ride what ever pin you changed it to in most Ultra receivers. If that don't work you will need to re-flash your receiver to get it back originally. Should save your channel list first.
CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR AUTO-ROLL WILL AUTO-ROLL WITH THE 278t bin. OR MANUALLY CHANGE DN KEYS For some reason you may want to see if your auto-roll will auto-roll or manually change the keys for DN. MENU Down to PARENTAL CONTROL then OK At bottom in SECOND PIN put in 0000 or 1668 or 1010 Then down to NAGRAVISION 2 then OK Side arrow to 01 01 then down to KEY DATA and change one or more of the numbers. Then click to save then exit all the way out. The % should show and may go well above 100 before you get a picture.
HOW TO CLONE ONE LIFETIME ULTRA RECEIVER TO ANOTHER ULTRA Use a Nul cable, OR a Straight through cable RS232C with a Nul Modem adaptor from Radio Shack number 26-264B put adaptor on Master receiver (the good working one). Unplug the LNB cable from the master receiver to be safe. Then hook the master receiver to the TV. Now plug the Nul cable into both receivers. After hooking up cable click MENU on the Master receiver with the slave receiver turned off. For the 273t bin go to System Setup scroll down to S/W Transfer then click OK. For the 104t bin click on MENU, TV SETUP, OK, down to S/W TRANSFER, OK, Then do screen instructions. Select SW.Code for Boot & Bin transfer or CHData for channels. Use SW.Code first if going to do both. Turn slave receiver on then click UP button on Master receiver not the remote. When transfer is done turn off and ON the slave receiver before you use it.
HOW TO GET YOUR TV SCREEN FROM PAL TO NTSC with 273t or 104t bin Make sure the little channel switch in back is set correctly with your TV. Turn receiver on then click MENU on remote once Click down arrow three times on remote. Click OK on remote. Click side arrow on remote until you can see TV. There are 3 settings. NTSC,AUTO & PAL

bugs5254 I'm in the same area, had the same problem with the pansat 3000 clone, my solution.
used the keys Eva posted, no picture and zero signal strength, SOOO I went to factory default AND PUSHED OK, then did a complete satellite scan, WALLA picture perfect. if no picture confirm the keys you installed are still the same.
9/18/06 --> Some international channels have started to black out for DN. Expect P o r n, PPV's and premium channels as well as others to follow shortly (within 48 hrs). The Canadian provider has already started this procedure and many of those channels have been blacked out. The game has begun...again.
Hi I am new to this and I have a captive works 600s.Can you help me input these new keys I try to load the bin file into captive work using the conx 1.02 loader but it won't go what am i doing wrong could someone help me please. thank in advance
tony, thats the wrong loader, what bin are you running now menu, accessories,about stb, also easiest way to input keys is to be on a channel you know you get 9409(will say scrambled)w/remote press page button on the lowest end. screen will appear to enter active key only.
tony, i don`t know--1.18 is card sharing for cw600s if what you have is cw600s and not premeium and if you won`t be using card fix, i would load bin 1.19 using loader v1.05, if you have premium then load bin 1.20 w/same loader everything can be found @hashhu dot com

people easy its not the keys.... changing keys is not going to do anything, you have to wait until the bin file comes out...till then all we can do is wait!
Poscor I was wondering if I have the right Rs232 cable. I have 2 cables one is use to load pansat 2500a and the other can be use to load pansat 3500. they are 2 different cables. but none of them seems to work on cw. I am using the new loader 1.04 but still I get nothing. I try to load the cv_kroundv1.06 for 24138 chip but it just won't download when I hit start nothing happened
please any one can tell me how do i switch for 8#s to 16# setting...i have a fortec ultra receiver and for disnetwork it only has 8#s for 00 and 8#s for 01. do i need to change it to 16#s or it should work with 8#? please anyone!!!!
