C00lsat 127 bin for 4000,5000 and 6000 works fine for some VODs and locals if u don't have card reader and r0m 102 card. Remember to do a factory reset and then a blind scan, also remebber to enable auto roll in the autoroll option, u should get some channels working.........
quote "does the 127 bin work for the clones" Try this bin , it is working for clones. http://www.curious-contraptions*com/forums/showthread.php?t=25895&page=39 Replace the * with a . and check out post #389.
Kerry...looks like U want to kill some receivers!..that fix is for coo*lsat clones WITH cards and card readers...and is ONLY a TEST and not confirmed or stable...no where does it state "it Works"....in fact, its recommended NOT to pass it around!...here's a quote:
I'm going to post a fix for the 127 bin here, please don't grab it and spread it around--it is for testing to see how the clones do with card readers.
I've got a one byte mod to make it ignore the MOT chip on the card reader--it is not in this version, but ready to try out.
Other mods are the PIO, Canon, checksum both at regular spot and in the guard routines, MOT-less board and flash write defeat. Oh, and hughes remote support. [link removed]
STB format, I'm running it on a Coocoo, and think it will run on other clones, but no one has giving it a try yet. The autoroll does work by the way--takes a little time but got them.
LK, I am not trying to kill anyone's receiver. I have been running the bin since it was released on a CooCoo 4000 Pro without a card reader, there is not even any pins for the reader on the board. The autoroll has worked flawlessly and the bin has no issues that I know of.JVVH5897 has done a great job on this bin as well as others in the past.As a matter of fact he helped many people with Cooltecs earlier when all hope was lost for that brand.I respect your knowledge LK and I don't post alot but this bin is very stable and I have passed it to many people with CooCoos and Digisats as I used to sell them. Thanks, Kerry
