The model is European and therefore PAL but it is supposed to record NTSC signal as well. Description says "With PAL/NTSC Dual Recording, you can record either PAL or NTSC format onto DVD discs." Anybody can confirm this? any reply will be really appreciated. |

I was able to hook up a PAL VCR that also has NTSC playback and tape from the VCR to the Pioneer hard drive and then make both +R and -R dvds that can be played using the Pioneer as well as Power DVD on my PC which has a NEC_DVD_RW_ND-2500A drive. You need to select the 525 System from Input line system on the Basic screen of the Initial Setup. |
New member Username: Clara1789Post Number: 2 Registered: Sep-06 | Does anyone know how to make a Pioneer DVR 440HS multiregion? I've looked at http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php?dvdplayer=Pioneer+DVR+440H&hits=50 and http://www.pioneerfaq.info/index.php?question=multiregional but am not sure of how to go about what they are saying (i.e. using a pronto remote and the ccf file posted there). I'm also considering renting the Multiregion DVD Upgrade kit available at http://www.multiregionupgrades.co.uk/upgrades/pioneer/dvr440.htm Would anyone recommend this or have any other suggestions? Thanks! |
