Hi, I just installed a DVR from Cox cable. I have an older model TV with 1 video input/output R & L audio input/output, 1 S video. The DVR is connected directly to the input TV. The output goes to the Stereo Receiver. My problem is connecting the DVD. My receiver has a DVD video input, S video, and R L audio, and monitor hookups. I can get DVD sound out of the receiver, but no picture. Another forum suggested to connect the DVD S video to the TV S video. This gave me a black screen with Ext S Video, but still no pic.
