My television was working fine before I went to bed. Images were clear and there were no signs of problem.
When I woke up 8hours later and tried switching it on, it would turn itself off(to stand-by mode) 2seconds after I press the 'ON' button.
There were no images nor sound, but even in normal operations, it takes about 2seconds for them to come on so I'm unable to ascertain whether visual and audio is working.
Within the next few minutes, hitting the 'ON' button repeatedly returns no respond from the TV. It's only after awhile before the 'ON' button would start the TV up again(only to be turned off immediately).
did you try unplugging it from electricty for a minute or two and then plug it back in? Also, did you have a thunderstorm while you were sleeping? A power surge maybe?
