Bronze Member Username: EmperorrotmPost Number: 50 Registered: May-06 | When the Viewsat fix came out, BL's site didn't even update anything. They didn't even mension that a fix was out. I guess BL help VS in getting this fix. Maybe I'm wrong. I dunno. Just a guess. |
Gold Member Username: The_wank_artistPost Number: 1536 Registered: Feb-06 | After the last ECM the Pansat bin came out about 48 hours after the Viewsat fix, so give him a bit more time. If things go in the same order, we're looking at Pansat next followed the next day by Cools@. But if you're a betting man, you'd be better to box the three of them and let it all ride. |

Silver Member Username: Etorres4uPost Number: 113 Registered: Sep-05 | The Pansat site is "down for maintenance" If experience is any guide that might actually be good news. They always take the site down for maintenance when posting new bins. Lets wait and see. |
Gold Member Username: The_wank_artistPost Number: 1542 Registered: Feb-06 | Wiggles, That sounds like a B-70 error message. I think all you need to do is load the factory bin and you should be back up and running. Get the file from any good fta site. |
New member Username: John_cPost Number: 6 Registered: Oct-05 | well don't get your hopes up too much for tonight. they also take down the site when it gets overloaded which is expected after the news of the fix came out |
Silver Member Username: Rufa33Post Number: 151 Registered: Jun-06 | Wiggles Mcgee, as Tyler said, you need to get on a factory bin and load it, sometimes takes more than once, perhaps several loads to make your pansat back to life. Be patient and good luck. |
New member Username: FfpalmsPalmdale, Florida USA Post Number: 9 Registered: Jun-06 | Thanks for the info. I used the memory card to load the bin. Time to hook up the computer and use the loader thanks. i have a factory pansat bin. |

Silver Member Username: Hawaiian_timeHawaii Post Number: 407 Registered: Apr-06 | kris, here's a c&p from satcruiser: how to Load and Save Files to the Pansat 3500S 3500 - THE SD/MMC WAY: Insert virgin SD/MMC card into receiver. Press [menu] Select [SD Memory] Note: Receiver will automatically create 3 directories on the card: CH Data Backup Code Backup MP3 (For Virgin cards only -Take the card out at this point and load your unzipped bin or channel list file to the card in the appropriate directory. Now put the card back in and re-access via menu as stated above.) Select bin file in appropriate directory, main directory, [ch data backup] or [code backup] Press [OK] Select [data restore] Press [OK] to load, receiver will automatically load, confirm, then reboot. TO SAVE DATA Insert SD/MMC card into receiver. Press [menu] Select [SD Memory] Select an appropriate directory, main directory, [ch data backup] or [code backup] by using [up or down arrows] and [OK] Press RED button in left bottom corner of remote. Name your file on the alphanumeric screen file by scrolling via [arrows] to next character and then pressing [OK] for each character or [del] to correct a character. To save selected name, press [OK] on the alphanumeric screen. Bin File will then write automatically to the correct directory. Size of files: CH = 352 kb Code = 768 kb Use GREEN button (beside the RED button) to delete selected and unwanted files. |

New member Username: Mortimer_snurdPost Number: 10 Registered: Aug-06 | Someone jokingly said earlier that Pansat went out of business.Well, think about it,its possible.Perhaps they just decided that investing more money at this point would be unwise??? And like the man said, maybe BL went to work for VS?Mind you.they would be wise to announce that so the hard liner Pansat guys/broads would by viewsats? Then on the otherhand, the bin could be out in the next hour. I hate to admit this, but I should of bought a Viewsat. |
Silver Member Username: BirdwatcherPost Number: 218 Registered: Jul-06 | nah, either way, we're all in the same boat. Im just messing around, Pansuck will work again soon. there is some person smarter than Charlie |
