Hey mickey lee, the radio / music channels are partly true FTA, partly not, the TV channels are mostly not true FTA, but working currently using current BINs. If they go down, I will keep this thread updated ( for better or worse ).
If you do a blind scan, the channels displayed with a "$" sign, mean that they will probably not come in, but that is not always the rule.

Spanish channels currently running on 119? I believe, zero.
However, on true FTa, in the same location ( 4-degrees further west ) on G10-Ku, with a 39-inch dish & 0.3dB LNB, there are several Spanish-language channels: Univision, TeleFutura, LP, TeleFormula, Mas Musica, & several English-language channels. See attached file for TP information....true FTA, never needs BIN files.

how does this work exactly?

is there a key change involved? or do i just scan for new channels under a ecostar satellite or do i have to physically move my satellite?

Scan the sats for 110 and 119.
110 holds the most locals though.
You shouldn't need to redirect the dish, unless it's not aimed at 110.
