FTA IS NOT SCREWED, FTA IS JUST THAT, FTA THERE ARE PLENTY OF SATELLITES OUT THERE WITH FREE CHANNELS, THE ONLY ONES THAT WILL BE SCREWED IF IT IS TRUE ON YOUR CLAIM ARE THOSE WITH ILLEGAL DISH RECEIVERS AND CARDS AND PROGRAMMERS.
Dish tried to acquire DTV couple of years ago and the deal was denied by the FCC. So I doubt anyone is talking about this. Especially since Murdoch worked behind the scenes as hard as he could to prevent this deal so then we could swoop in and by DTV.
