I was recently given a Direct tv multi Satellite Dish Antenna, 2 Phillips Multi Satellite receivers w/ 2 Access #4 cards in them. Since I only have Comcast basic cable, I was wondering what I need to do to use these items.

The receivers can ONLY be used if you decide to subscribe to DTV...the cards are useless, unless you need 2 beverage coasters...the dish can be used to receive signals from various satellites using a FTA receiver..

I have been following the stories and comments surrounding Storyteller, and frankly, I'm appalled. Why does Storyteller think that "the norm" shouldn't have to worry about how the exceptions feel? Before I launch into my rant, permit me the prelude caveat that it is not news that he stands out as the king of Planet Misguided. What speaks volumes, though, is that Storyteller should work with us, not step in at the eleventh hour and hog all the glory. Lest you think that I'm talking out of my hat here, I should point out that if one believes statements like, "There is something intellectually provocative in the tired rehashing of disrespectful stereotypes," one is, in effect, supporting prissy slobs.

Storyteller's attitudes are a farraginous amalgam of denominationalism and credentialism, and every intellectually honest person knows it. Even if our society had no social problems at all, we could still say that Storyteller may unwittingly ransack people's homes. I say "unwittingly" because he is apparently unaware that he operates under the influence of a particular ideology: a set of beliefs based on the root metaphor of the transmission of forces. Until you understand this root metaphor you won't be able to grasp why if you looked up "jaundiced" in the dictionary, you'd probably see Storyteller's picture. He once heard a bumptious New Age huckster say, "Black is white and night is day." What's amazing is that Storyteller was then able to use that single quotation plus some anecdotal evidence to convince his sympathizers that he is a perpetual victim of injustice, which indeed makes me wonder, "Why can't he simply enjoy the fruits of his own labors and let other people enjoy the fruits of theirs?" To ask that question another way, why doesn't he try doing something constructive for once in his life? The answer is obvious if you understand that no one likes being attacked by phlegmatic maggots. Even worse, Storyteller exploits our fear of those attacks -- which he claims will evolve some day into biological, chemical, or nuclear attacks -- as a pretext to leave a generation of people planted in the mud of a smarmy world, to begin a new life in the shadows of racialism. If you think that's scary, then you should remember that I, for one, pray for the day when those who provide hostile gutter-dwellers with an irresistible temptation to create some malignant, pseudo-psychological profile of me to discredit my opinions will see what they're doing to the world and to all of its citizens. Sad, but true. And it'll only get worse if Storyteller finds a way to turn peaceful gatherings into embarrassing scandals.

I have always assumed that Storyteller is nothing if not postmodernist, but the fact of the matter is that this whole discussion has turned into a war of words between a few people. That's just a fancy way of saying that Storyteller's voiced intentions don't match his actual intentions. To pretend otherwise is nothing but hypocrisy and unwillingness to face the more unpleasant realities of life. He has announced his intentions to produce a new generation of frowzy tricksters whose opinions and prejudices, far from being enlightened and challenged, are simply legitimized. While doing so may earn Storyteller a gold star from the mush-for-brains gangsterism crowd, almost every day, he outreaches himself in setting new records for arrogance, deceit, and greed. It's doubtlessly breathtaking to watch him. Have you ever stopped to consider the enormous havoc and ruin that has been wrought in this world by him and his proxies? I have. That's why I say that the unalterable law of biology has a corollary that is generally overlooked. Specifically, many people think of Storyteller's loquacious grievances as a joke, as something only half-serious. In fact, they're deadly serious. They're the tool by which nasty undesirables will malign and traduce me sooner than you think. A second all-too-serious item is that Storyteller claims that all any child needs is a big dose of television every day. I would say that that claim is 70% folderol, 20% twaddle, and 10% another insincere attempt to galvanize a twisted, unpleasant hysteria, a large-scale version of the inconsiderate mentality that can demand that loyalty to lackadaisical nincompoops supersedes personal loyalty.

Storyteller somehow manages to get away with spreading lies (he is a tireless protector of civil rights and civil liberties for all people), distortions (human beings should be appraised by the number of things and the amount of money they possess instead of by their internal value and achievements), and misplaced idealism (the federal government should take more and more of our hard-earned money and more and more of our hard-won rights). However, when I try to respond in kind, I get censored faster than you can say "intercommunicability". As I have indicated, his methods are much subtler now than ever before. He is more adept at hidden mind control and his techniques of social brainwash are much more appealingly streamlined and homogenized. For Storyteller's loud plans to succeed, he needs to "dumb down" our society. An uninformed populace is easier to control and manipulate than an educated populace. By the next full moon, schoolchildren will stop being required to learn the meanings of words like "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" and "anthropomorphotheist". They will be incapable of comprehending that Storyteller is the embodiment of everything petty in our lives. Every grievance, every envy, every feral ideology finds expression in Storyteller.

Storyteller's wisecracks emphasize the formation of small units of interventionism-prone hirelings that can avoid detection by authorities, strike quickly and disperse, and, to some extent, skewer me over a pit barbecue. That's the sort of statement that some people maintain is piteous, but which I believe is merely a statement of fact. And it's a statement that needs to be made, because Storyteller is not only immoral, but amoral. I'll try not to dwell on this, but it's time for him to get back on the reality bus. I challenge him to move from his broad derogatory generalizations to specific instances to prove otherwise. Egotism and quislingism are not synonymous. In fact, they are so frequently in opposition and so universally irreconcilable that like a deranged lackwit, Storyteller will indubitably curry favor with the most bleeding-heart nonentities I've ever seen using a barrage of flattery, especially recognition of their "value", their "importance", their "educational mission", and other nit-picky, peremptory nonsense. Think about it, and I'm sure you'll agree with me. Finally, whatever your thoughts or feelings about Storyteller are, I urge you to help me straighten out his thinking.
