Guys, I am new at this , I have a sat but it is old 6 years ago. i think i need to change the LNB , what type i need to by , in the market there is Dish network , DTV and Universal LNB? do I need LNBF or LNB? please advice.....
Mike, you do not need to buy universal or linear lnb.If you are (were) receiving dishnet, you can use the same lnb that you have. If you have dishpro logo make sure you check the antenna setting to ocs dp if not use standard.Tp and freq. is same as dishnet 110 and 119..Hope that makes sense
If you using stb for what it ment for FTA stuff then linear+30" dish.If you just want free dn or bev then standard 18" dish.18" dish use circular lnb,30" use universal or linear.121w 123w 97w=linear.
miss kitty, don't forget 105. Actually you can use universal lnb in place of linear and it still serve the same purpose. I am using 32" dish with motor and I get all the satellite mentioned above ....
Old primestar dish work very well for FTA stuff and other linear sats.Find them all over and most ppl give them away. Most think they useless but find they work well for lots of stuff.
