New member Username: SlideripPost Number: 8 Registered: Jun-06 | thanks , i got both 91 and 82 working with very little effort. i think if u move your 110/119 dish towards left, sitting behind it, about 10 degrees without changing elevation u will get 91 (Nimiq1) , u may tweak it a bit. if u move your echo 3 dish about 25 degrees towards your right and elevate it about 10 degrees u will get 82 (Nimiq2) hope it helps. |
New member Username: ImnycusaPost Number: 10 Registered: Jun-06 | tony khan, good 4 u. now, what international channels have u been able to watch on 91 or 82? |
New member Username: LamparMontreal Post Number: 3 Registered: Jul-06 | Having problem to move from Echo3 (1.5)to Nimiq 2 (82). Changed to dish location, but then scanning to channels get all from Echo 8 (110). Please help me? What I'm doing wrong? |
Silver Member Username: AbjPost Number: 260 Registered: Feb-06 | where are you located. What is your dish elevation.if you moved dish fron 61.5 you should move to your right standing behind the dish.If you did it right it should be first satellite, that you should have hit.since you are getting 110 you moved to far to right.Check your elevation on your dish. |
New member Username: LamparMontreal Post Number: 4 Registered: Jul-06 | Montreal, I did not touch elevation it stays same as for 61.5 . I have a 110 and I moved my 62 between as it used to be and 110. |

New member Username: LamparMontreal Post Number: 5 Registered: Jul-06 | it's that i have magn. azimuth 206.61 dish elevation 37.02 - do u know that i had with 61.5? |
Silver Member Username: AbjPost Number: 262 Registered: Feb-06 | go to lyngsat. com , most channels on that satellite is internationals.that is dishnet work. if that is your setting turn you dish to your left slowly to your left.Set your receiver where it says nimiq 2. than turn your dish slowly until you see the signal. You just might have turned to far. |
Bronze Member Username: TadonDover, NJ Usa Post Number: 94 Registered: May-06 | if your standing point is 110 . So you should move the dish to the left side (assume you stand behind the dish) . How far ? Depeend on where you are . If base on X&Y plane, so it is no more than 20 degree to the left ) and til up few degree or more . Play with these scales then you will get what you need . hope this help |
