Friday, June 30, 2006 - 20:24 GMT guys, don't get me wrong. I live in America and I love this country, but soccer should never be on America's plan. The only reason they want to win a world cup some day is because they want to win. Just for the pleasure, but if that happens one day, (I think it will, but not anytime soon) the majority of the American people will be proud because they defeated others, one more gold, but the love for the game, the passion that moves South Americans and Europeans... forget it.

Friday, June 30, 2006 - 20:31 GMT I agree Rusty. America will never have the passion & love that all the other countries have for soccer even if America was to win the world cup. And in that respect it is good that America doesn't do well. I think it will be a long time before America catches up. But no matter where you live, you would like to see your team do well.

Friday, June 30, 2006 - 20:46 GMT I don't know Marcus. Italy and Germany are excellent teams. Brazilian players tend to be a little lazy. That saying goes like this: "If you don't score fast they'll score first" "Se voce nao da' voce toma"

Friday, June 30, 2006 - 20:58 GMT i understand creek, but brazil is all about quality soccer , did you se brazil and ganna? ganna ran 24/7 on the field and trew the ball 20 times on the bench trying to find the goal. and brazil went there 3 times and scored the 3 times they went.. brasil have the "MALICIA" the other times are very naive.. i honestly think that Robinho plays more thn Ronaldo. portugal is another time that is really amazing me by the way... one saying in brasil: "faca a bola correr e nao voce" translation :"Put the Ball to run and not you"
