Bronze Member Username: KarlaCanada Post Number: 42 Registered: May-06 | Yesterday I move my dish to see if I could get bev on nimiq1, just for the heck of it, using an old echostar receiver for signal, AND IT WORKED GUYS!!!, with 99% signal! I was so proud of myself, then I entered the keys on N2, but the only weird thing was that on the list of satellites I only have dishnet, but it still worked with the provider id that I got from here. cheers |

After the last ECM, everyone was high on the Viewsat and down on both the Pansat and Cools@. Once/If the fix comes out for this ECM, whomever releases it first will be the new top dog. All receivers have their +/-. Some better EPG, some easier to load software, etc. etc. I suggest doing some research and if possible try out the receivers at a friends house if they have one, or at a store before you buy. Then you can form your own opinion. Karla, Good for you! Depending on the bin, some don't list BEV by name, only provider id. |

Re: Venus/transponder 12253 If your signal quality is low (red) for that tp then you will not get those channels. If you are in S.Fla or S.Calif you may need a larger dish. You may only need to peak your dish. While watching that tp, hold the dish by the edges and flex it up/down/l and r. See if the quality changes. Adjust dish accordingly if needed. |
