I was just wondering..... my Dishnetwork 110 & 119 are working GREAT!!! And my BEV is also working GREAT!! But I was wondering what other FTA satellites would be worth getting. I have room on my switch for one more dish, so are there any more satellites out there with AMERICAN/CANADIAN programming that isn't found on DN or BEV??

Take your pick.
On the right hand side you'll see some with SID or ChNo. Click on either of those for the associated channels.

I don't really know what you mean?? I have a switch with Diseq numbers for my Pansat 2700A. And one of them is empty, so I can put another satellite on.

The ONLY satellites that U can receive a signal from are a satellite that U MUST have a DEDICATED LNB for each on your roof dish...thats disque switch isn't getting the signal FIRST , its the LNB on the dish...each LNB can ONLY pick up 1 satellite too..

so U want 4 satellites U need 4 LNB's ....2 sats U need 2 LNB's ...8 sats U need 8 LNB's...common sense..and the dish does NOT receive the satellite signal, it reflects the signal to the LNB which in turn carries the signal via cable to the receiver (the disque switch just combines the signals from the various LNB's into 1 cable to the receiver)...no LNB signal from LNB's, then the disque is useless and NOT even needed..

OK then..... yes I have room for another LNB. I currently have 3 dishes on my roof, one of which has a dual LNB, so technically I'm receiving 110 & 119 from one dish. The other 2 pick up 61.5 and Nimiq 1.3, so I can put up anther dish with another LNB without problems. The question is, what other FTA satellites are there other than BEV and DN that have american channels. I looks at the website above, and most of it is international programing or local stations from the all over the USA.

Emp...A DUAL LNB receives ONLY 1 sat signal...it has 1 "round white eye" and 2 outputs for 2 receivers..

U saw a list of many satellites at www.lyngsat.com...U look them over and decide...I posted the most popular ones for U ...if U don't like them then don't ask again!..do it yourself!

I can tell U have no clue about what U are doing, if U didn't know about LNB's...just how many channels can U really watch!...110-119 is almost 1000 channels

geezz LK, I can see now why everyone keeps writing bad things about you. I guess they are right. You have a bad temper, and a short fuse. Two things that don't go hand in hand. In fact, I do know what I'm doing. My LNB has 2 eyes with 2 cables coming from it. I only have one of those cables plugged into my switch (the other cable isn't plugged to anything) and I get both 110 and 119 on my Pansat. Considering I set up 4 satellite on one receiver, I pretty much do have an idea as to what I'm doing. As for you, I sure hope your not some guy whose locked up in the basement of his parent's house all day, copy and pasting info from other people, and then going to sleep every night thinking that your somebody. Sorry big guy.... today isn't you day.

The more U post, the more your ignorance shows!....LMAO

LNB that has 2 eyes with 2 outputs is a TWIN LNB, not Dual LNB , as U INCORRECTLY stated!

TWIN LNB has built in switches

TWIN LNB has 2 outputs ro run DIRECTLY to each receiver...no need to go to switch...and no need for 2nd cable to go nowhere as yours does!

Anyone of BASIC knowledge, knows that U needed another LNB to have add another satellite....U DIDN"T !....U thought U could just cable anything into an empty switch port, without a need to have another LNB aimed at another bird!!...LMAO

Anyone of BASIC knowledge knows the difference between a TWIN and a Dual LNB!....U DIDN'T !!!....

Its NOT your lucky day to come here and try and BS your way around!....U've been exposed like a se*xual predator on Dateline!.....LMAO!

Emp : I believe you looking into playing with linear true FTA satellites. The best thing you can do is buy a 33" dish, an Invacom (linear/circular) LNBF and a dish motor like the SG2100. - Set for it, a dedicated receiver for true FTA, A Pansat 2700A will do fine. No DiSEqC needed.
The dish motor comes with full instructions on how to point it to a satellite and from there, setting your receiver and running blind scans on every and each satellite.
The final step will be deleting unwanted channels. There are many English feed channels and a huge amount of asian channels. If you don't care for asian channels like me, just delete them.
Bottom line is, with this setup, you're in for lots of fun finding out cool channels out there. Sometimes you will find some live feed showing the anchorman talking "crap" before going on air. Its really interesting.
When you're tired of all that - get a C-band dish.
