I try to transfer video from my Cannon MV830i to my Dell Latitude X300 laptop.

Both the camera and the Laptop have IEEE 1394 connector, I also have a matching cable, but the Laptop doesnt detect the Camera. I'm using a PINNACLE Studio 8 SE.
