I have the StarCruiser9000, connected to Dish500 with two dishes with the newest BIN file for R3X is installed. I'm very puzzled and need help in understanding how the FTA operates. Every few days, without any interference on my part, my satellite box stops locking onto 110 and 148. Only 119 is locked on. For that reason I lose some PPV and other channels. My setup is as follow:
Satellite Setup. Antenna Setting 110 Echo 6/8 LOCK Satellite 110 ECHO 6/8 Echostar 119 LNB Type Single DPLNBF LO. Freq. 11250 22kHz Disable DiSEqC mode DiSEqC 1 DiSEqC1,2 OFF 0/12V switch Disable LNB Power ON Search Channels Blind Scan
119 Echo 7 LOCK Satellite 119 ECHO 7 Echostar 119 LNB Type Single DPLNBF LO. Freq. 11250 22kHz Disable DiSEqC mode DiSEqC 2 DiSEqC1,2 OFF 0/12V switch Disable LNB Power ON Search Channels Blind Scan
148 Echo1/2 LOCK Satellite 148 ECHO1/2 Echostar 119 LNB Type Standard LO. Freq. 11250 22kHz OFF DiSEqC mode DiSEqC3 DiSEqC1,2 OFF 0/12V switch Disable LNB Power ON Search Channels Blind Scan
From what I can see your LNBF selection is wrong. Since dish500 comes with a dual DPLNBF not single. So your selection should be dual DPLNBF, wich will get both 110 and 119.
"I have the StarCruiser9000, connected to Dish500 with two dishes" I have no idea what do you mean in this sentence. Do you have 2 dish500 or one with 2 LNBs? if you can clarify I might be able to help. Also notice that on all the 3 setting the lines that has the satellite names, all ends with "Echostar 119", something not correct in there.
I have 2 dishes with 3 LNBs connected, 2 LNBs, 110, 119 on one dish and 148 on the other. All 3 LNBs are locked on 119 thats why you see "Echostar 119" next to the names of the satellite. if this was column spaced you'll see that "LOCK" is above the "Echostar 119" for each of the LNBs. Also, it does not matter what I chose, Single, dual or Standard DPLNBF, I still only lock on 119. Strange ha? Any ideas why this is so would be greately apprciated.
If what you say is correct, then that means you only locking the signal from 119, again meanning that all your dishes are pointed to echo 7. I hope you know that if you point your dish at any echo bird that requires a circular LNB and have a signal on one of them, then that signal will show good for all the other "circular" echos satellites. The only way of knowing wich signal you are picking is by knowing the direction, or scanning the sat and matching the channels against the ones on Lyngsat.
The thing is I did not move anything. The dishes are as were installed by DN, and the DN box that I have is working properly, its only the FTA box that is giving me this reading.
Grim made a good suggestion, try the easiest thing first, bypass the switch with each LNB connection directly to the reciever and remove the diseqC setting on the setup page, so one cable from LNB to reciever, test the same for all 3 lnbs seperately, do you see all 3 birds when testing each one, one at a time? if yes then the switch ports or your terminations are faulty.
Well, 110 and 148 are back, they are locked now and I'm back to getting everything again, the 30++ PPV channels, 10 VOD channels and all the other HBO,STARZ, Etc. and I think I know what the problem is, maybe. I still do have DN boxes connected to the LBNs. So I think there is some kind of interference between the FTA and the DN boxes to which can control the DISEQCs. I'm gona do some testing and I'll let you guys know what the deal is.
This is just to inform everybody that the 277t is working file on my Pansat clone, and I am seeing all the channels on Echo 7 (119) and Echo 3(61.5), from two separate dishes. Some Indian channels have been added on AMC 16 (118.5), but you are supposed to have a circular LNB for these. I am not getting any of these so far with my LNB. If anybody has a solution for getting these newly added channels on AMC 16, it would be a great help to everybody.
If you use a DishPro switch/LNB, you will need to use a CHANNEL LIST that is different from the one that most users use. This is because in order to allow the receiver to work with all channels, all transponders must operate on right polarity and the frequencies of the left polarity transponders must be changed to values above 12.7 GHz.
DP LNB's convert all TP's to VERTICAL TP's...11250 freq is fine in settings!
burkan...no clue...sorry, but I have my opinion... your settings don't make sense either ...disque mode, disque 1,but then disque 1 OFF and disque 1 for BOTH the 110 and 119...rest disque 2-3 also don't look correct either...they are contradictory!///I would think disque mode means disque ON , disque 2...but then next setting U say disque 1-2 OFF which should have disque 2 ON..
