VORTEX-PRO 7700 need ur help

New member Username: New2thegameUsa, North Usa Post Number: 1 Registered: May-06 | Hello, I am using a clone vortex-pro 7700 with 2 satellites 1 Dual Direct Tv LNB (facing 119) 1 DNTV Twin Legacy (facing 110) with 2 SW21 switches feeding 2 receivers 1 SUB 1 FTA I am new and dont know much about software...this if what my system information says... 2.73t 4secGC_RTN_TVE Boot ver:6.0 18. Mar. 2006 Chancysand I bn a paid DNTV customer for a long time...about three months ago I decided to purchase a FTA box from a friend. It was working fine until recent change of the PINCODE...which I did and I am still missing some channels. I dont have the R232 serial cable but I did order it off Ebay so i should be receiving it shortly. So my question is what BIN and loader should I use to start receiving all the channels again and what else can I do to my setup to improve it. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP IN ADVANCE |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 3526 Registered: Jan-06 | Maybe that U should just have read ALL this information FIRST,(it was posted everywhere here 1000 places about using the 277T bin with the vortex 7700 and how to use the correct cable and serial port and U cannot use SW21 switches with FTA receivers, except coo*lsat) and didn't need to post or ask, until at least U got your receiver and TESTED it first! |

This site has NO bins or files or manuals and guides..suggest U go to my thread topic "best Dss sites" and go to each web site and try and learn as much as U can about your receiver...if its EXACTLY like a pansat 2500 , then there are thousands of files and manuals to read everywhere, and its a super simple machine.....BUT first U must determine if it has its own procedures or is a total duplication/clonw of a pansat 2500..yes its a clone, but in ALL ways? |

I got the Digital DSW-41F DISEqC 4x1 2.0 Switch and the RS-232 Straight Cable 9Pin Female to Female in the mail yesterday. First thing I did was changed my SW21 switch (left my STB unpluged during this process). Then I went into the menu of my VORTEX and selected the factory settings and last but not least flashed it with X-85bl_060610_277T_au_api__211 BIN. (SPECIAL THANKS GOES OUT TO ALL OF YOU WHO HELPED OUT WITH THIS NEW BIN) Had to rescan my 110,119,and 61.5 And GOT ALL MY CHANNELS BACK... Thanks to LK n the members of this forum... |
