Turn off power to receiver and computer and remove the cable from the receiver! |

Go to search try LOader, download the gtloader or bl loader, Go to www.winzip.com Download evaluation copy its free. Unzip both files. And follow the instruction how to run a bin file For ALL Pansats.... Things you will need! 1.A computer with a com port! 2.The right cable to connect to your computer to your receiver! 3.GTROM LOADERv3.34 or newer!..or another loader like BL 1.4 4.New pansat 2700bin!..or another Pansat bin 5.LNB setup and the right switch! 6.Sat Signal at 70 percent or higher! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- 1.Power down receiver and computer! 2.Connect receiver to computer and power both of them up! 3.Start up gtrom loader v3.34 or newest version and select the new bin file you wish to upload then click download wait until it is finished it will go to a 100 percent but it is not finish until it displays burn complete or finished! 4.Turn off power to receiver and computer and remove the cable from the receiver! 5.Install cable from the lnb and the cable from the tv and the plug it up and power up the receiver! 6.Using your remote hit menu and the parent control then ok in second pin enter 0000 and then ok! 7.Then set default key..EMU-ON then ok! 8.Go to Nagavision2 then ok and check 00 and 01 keys. Put in new keys if need then hit ok to save! 9.Now installation then ok antenna setup then ok make sure you have 110 and 119 and check to make sure the switch is set right for both on the diseqc setting! If 110 is on 1 and 119 is on 2, set diseqc the same way! 10.Now go to blind scan and hit ok! 11.When finished exit menu and watch tv! Before start to run a bin turn off the back button in your receiver. Lucky |

New member Username: UroojPost Number: 4 Registered: Jun-06 | Hello Lk thanks for reply man, as you said i did rescan after checking my switches and setting my disecq to correct numbers but stil im not getting all the channels on echo3,echo7 and 6.8 iam missing some internatonal channels as i told before that i have FLU and i uploaded _060610_277T_au_api_ and did defult key update i got some 50 chanles on echo 3 and alltogether some 180 chanels but missing some india and sports chanel for cricket strange thing is that i uploaded same bin for my cousin and he got every thing including PPv and international and i help my friend with his FLU and he has same problem as mine I tried re-loading the bin 85BL_060610_277T_au_api_ again but still same problem should i do factory reset and upload this new file, but iam afraid that i will lose every thing i dont how to bring it back after factory reset Please help all the expert personals LK,Eva any one please please..greatly appreciated thanks...Urooj |

New member Username: SstwiredPost Number: 2 Registered: Jun-06 | I've been playing with a Fortec Lifetime Ultra for about 8 months, had no idea what I was getting into. Found the satellite forum sites, read, read, still lost, confused. I read every post in as many forums I could find. When the problem hit I decided to attempt the fix myself. Read, read, read, found what I was looking for, loaded a Fortec STB Updater and the 277t fix. I followed posted instructions. After half a day of screwing around, found the Fortec Updater does not work, period. Delete it. Read, read,read,found the "Blacklist STB Updater 1.3 exe" file, had TV up and running in about 10 minutes. Follow posted instructions - This is what I did: 1) Download the new fix (277T) and unzipped it. You will get a .Bin File 2) Opened the BL loader, copied the .Bin File to the loader. 3) Turned off the receiver from the back switch. Connected the serial connector. (9 pin straight thru cable for a Fortec) COM 1 to RECEIVER 4) Turned on the switch on the receiver. As soon as the first green light appeared on the receiver hit the "download/fix" button in the updater screen. 5) Now started downloading the .bin to the receiver. (Wait till it goes to 100%. WAIT till is says "Complete" and the Receiver reboots.) Done! 6) Connected the receiver back to the dish and the TV. I did not have to rescan, had all available Channels.(110 & 119) At that point most all scrambled. 7) Go to parental controls, go to second pin, enter 0000, and then hit "select default key". Exit Exit All OK Everything working perfect, all channels, EPG better than ever. Thanks to Forums like Ecoustics. |

In the begining some people were advice to use the RS232 modem cable(cross over type)but now I've seen that they are advicing to use the the RS232 straight type does this make a difference? I have a RS232 cross over type which worked perfectly with my Ariza 700 the first time I used it, and now we've been trying to fix my sister's Fortec lifetime ultra for a week already!! We have been doing everything we were told to do, using the RS232 null modem cable(cross over type)now I wonder if we've been using the wrong cable? Please someone Reply and Thanks. |
