New member Username: CoolguyfordishPost Number: 1 Registered: Jun-06 | Hello, I am newbie to cools@t 5k receiver. Please help me. I have a super dish pointing to 110, 119 & 121 satellites with DP34 switch and Cools@t 5K platinum Satellite Receiver. I am getting "No or Bad signal" error from the last 4 to 5 weeks. After troubleshooting with all the cables coming from dish to switch box (DP34), if I remove sat 121 cable then I am able to get the signal for other 110 and 119 satellites and I am able to see all movie channels (HBO, CMAX,..) and PPV's. If I connect 121 satellite cable to switch box then it is disturbing the other channels signals and I am getting this error. So I replaced the current 121-Satelite cable with brand new cable. I am still getting the same error. I am NOT able to see any international channels. Problem is NOT fixed even after updating cools@t 5k bin files (Ver 1.23), switching 121 to different i/p in the switch box, blind scan all channels, Delete all channels and blind scan, Delete all channels, reset the cools@t receiver to factory settings and then blind scan. New member Username: CoolguyfordishPost Number: 3 Registered: Jun-06 | LK, I changed 110 & 119 Legacy to OFF. For 121, I don't see LNB-Type as "Standard" I see the values Single/Universal/OCS/OCS-DP/Legacy Twin LNB 1/Legacy Twin LNB2/Legacy Quad LNB1/Legacy Quad LNB2. I have DP34 switch box. I changed the LNB Freq for 121 and Diseq Switch to 1.0 (from 1.0/1.1) to get Uncommitted setting and I changed it to 3 (Same as committed). There is NO 0 or OFF for uncommitted. With these settings before I connect 121 cable to switch box, I can see all 110 and 119 channels. Now I connected 121 cable to switch box then all the channels are gone with "Bad or NO Signal" message. Then I turn off the receiver with the remote and turn it ON. Now I see 110 or 119 channels for 3 to 5 SECONDS and then I am getting the same "Bad or NO Signal" message. I did try shutting OFF 22 kHz on 121 but NO luck. Also I don't see Skew, TP and Positioner. If I change Diseq Switch to any setting other than 1.0 or 1.0/1.1, I am NOT getting the signal at all. Please help. |
