New member Username: DishyPost Number: 5 Registered: May-06 | Guys I've been trying to load the new bin for my Pansat 2500a but keep getting bin failure error. I unzipped the bin, tried to use several different loaders for 2500a but same result. I know it's not the cable becuase I used the same cable to load bins for the 2700a with no problem. If anyone has any ideas on a resolution please help me out. |

Bronze Member Username: Rsmc73Post Number: 57 Registered: Mar-06 | C&P You must use a Windows XP computer for programming receiver. Connect your receiver to your computer with the serial cable, and power up the receiver. Load up the "2300_2500_1500 Downloader" software. Select the correct "Serial Port" for your system (usually com 1) "Baud" Should be "115200". For "STB Model" enter "key:global" exactly, without the quotes. Under Bin File select the "277T" file. Click "Download" and wait for your RECEIVER to be updated. Note that you must wait for the message "Download Complete", at which point your RECEIVER will reboot. DO NOT STOP UPDATING OR DISCONNECT YOUR CABLE WHEN IT REACHES "100%" - WAIT FOR THE "DOWNLOAD COMPLETE" MESSAGE! |

I did everything as in your instructions , however I was not too clear on what to enter for STB Model I tried "2500", then "2500a", then "pansat 2500a" to no avail. could you elaborate on the on the key:global? is that literally what needed to be enter? thank you |

I thought at the time that was the newest one :S My receiver has been work for about 5 hours now but I just wanted to know if by using that loader 1.3 instead of 1.4 there is any risk to the receiver. Set it up as com1,baud 115200, STB as key:gloabal, and bin file as 277T. keeps saying unknown file found. I've went to courious-contraptions and found the link for chancysand's new 277T file and downloaded it and still no worky. I'm new @ this and I know I'm not doing something right.Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
