My toshiba flatscreen tv (3/4 yrs old)has started to have problems. picture takes a while to appear sound is fine. Screen sometimes disappears after few hours and may or may not reappear on its own. tv switches itself off(standby mode. Also now getting funny coloured screen, red, green and squiggly white bits usually from left hand side. Just want to know if its worth repairing or not any ideas thanks
My 12 year old 27" Toshiba has similar behaviour. Takes about 3-5 minutes to warm up after turning it on to get the screen...Once it's on, however, the screen stays on until I turn it off. Other than that, it's a great TV set..better picture than my 2 year old Sony 27".
