hey, my pansat's remote is not working on my 2500a, its the one that came with it originally. when i try it on the 2700a it works fine. can someone tell me whats wrong and how to fix it pleasE? thanks
Check the optic sensor. You may need to bend it to the upright position as it might not have been soldered properly. The remotes have been known to act up too.
It's on the remote. The little bulb where the IR is sent from. If you mess with it too much you can snap it off so be gentle. the remote issue is common with the 2500a, and yes it can still work with a different box. If you want, there are universal remotes that will work which you can get for relatively cheap, around $8 to $10. The only other thing you might want to try is replace the batteries, but you wouldn't have posted a silly question like this without checking them now would you...
Again, the remotes have been known to act up. You are not the only one. http://forums.dss*tester.com/vbb/archive/index.php/t-33026.html http://forums.dss*tester.com/vbb/archive/index.php/t-32038.html
