If you can enter only 16 characters per 00 line, then just enter the first 16 of the active in 00 and the second set of 16 in the 01 line. If the 00 and 01 each hold 32, you can enter the full set, as posted above by LK. So you loaded an older bin and the box is not frozen anymore? If so, try loading the new bin again. Make sure the bin is for the cools@ 4000 pro, not a 5000 or 6000. |

Silver Member Username: The_wank_artistPost Number: 218 Registered: Feb-06 | Diseqc is what looks like a splitter and is used if you have more than one LNB or two lines coming out of one LNB. When you use a diseq switch, multiple lines feed into it and come out in one cable that you run to the back of your box. You then can use the antenna settings option in the box to let it know which LNB comes into which port on the diseq switch. If you only have one LNB, then the switch should be set to number 1. If you have more than one LNB, you'll need to know which LNB (or sat signal) goes to which port of the diseq, and change your settings in the box accordingly. |

You didn't spend too much time at this site below researching did you, even though they have a special section all about your box. I've been there all to 2 minutes and I think I've found the answer to your problem (but I didn't read all of the thread so maybe not). Anyway, the bin you tried to load but locked your box up has a patch to be installed which (it would seem) fixes the bug in the bin. Read this and maybe you'll be able to use that bin after all. Because of this laziness, I will now refer to you as Eagle98!!! You have lost one point. |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 2556 Registered: Jan-06 | Over 10 patches have been made for those cooltecs...they all suck...Only #8 and #10 worked, and then they were defeated again by co*olsat...and ONLY sometimes do mods #8 and #10 work on OLDER bins which are terrible...even Mingo has little faith with these cooltecs..get rid of the garbage! |

I have tried many combinations but no luck.such as 00 00 01 01, 10 11 20 21,10 11 10 11 or even 00 01 10 11. My reciever is 3-button cooltec and with bin file NORW-v1.01P. I dont know if there is a new bin file available. By the way, thank you so much for your helps, buddy |

Change it to the instructions indicated above to the one illustrated below: (Remember: This XX characters whould be replaced by the actual keys from keymaster) The zeros are actual key entry values needed, to make it work. 20: XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX 21: XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX 00: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 and save it.
