I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and I have not been able to get ANY signal or quality off of 110 or 119 at all off my 18" bell dish. I was told by a local today that I need a minimum 30" dish for these Sats from where I am. Can anyone confirm or dismiss this for me? P.S.: I have the correct az,ele and skew for my location.
Millertime. To give you an idea, find someone who has Bell and someone who has Sartchoice in your neighbourhood. Bell would be pointed at 91 degrees and starchoice would be at 107/111 degrees. you can estimate from there where 101 would be pointed. 6 degrees to the right of Starchoice and 10 degrees to the left of Bell, assuming L/R is looking directly at the dish.
U must think of a globe of the Earth, like when U were in school or had in your room when a kid....101 orbit is 101 west longitude...91W (bev) is 91 west logitude..etc..119....110....121
What I was trying find out was the size of dish for satellite 101. I'm located in north America. Can I use 18" dish for 101? Dish 500? Or has to be 36" dish? Thanks
