Channel list is a list that you upload/download from/onto your receiver from/to you computer. Using your computer you can edit the channel list, sort it how you want, rename, etc. etc. autoroll detects the latest keys. when the keys change it's called 'rolling' as in the 'the keys are rolling to new ones. the autoroll detects this key change and programs your reveiver for you.

I think you said that you use pansat bins for your quantum 3000 so it's most likely a clone. Find out what it is a clone of (2700, 3500, etc) and try that. I've looked up the Q3000 on google but wasn't able to find what it clones, it may be the 2500a. remove the * from the link and use a '.'
The channel list won't fix the key change issues from today. What a channel list can correct is the tp changes that were going on from late April onwards. There were people earlier this week that were looking for new keys when they should have been looking for new channel positions. That said, a channel list is not the only answer to the tp changes. You can scan tp's to find the new channel location, delete the old channels and just rename them via the remote. Anyway, keep reading and you'll be surprised how quickly you pick things up.
I just want a channel list software so that I can change around some channels, delete some, rename some (i'm aware that I can also do this with my STB). So is it possible to have one with my Ariza750cx then?
