New member Username: XxxcoolPost Number: 1 Registered: May-06 | Hi I'm totally new to this, I know nothing about satellite and have just learned what FTA is and that somehow you can use an FTA receiver to get well known channels offered by cable companies. I don't want to get slammed, but I have to ask. Can someone put together and explanatory, or a starters guide? For example, what equipment to buy and if one needs a specific type of dish and receiver. Like I said, I just came into this. From what I gathered I can use a View*Sat or Cool*Sat, but do I need a dish network dish? or any dish will do? What are keys and passwords? How often does one need keys, etc. |
