I WILL NOT ask for the new codes for the 2500A as I see them in a million places! Poor LK! anyway, I believe after reading I see that i have the newest bin 273t! I am missing my Local Naples channels, all ppv's and some kids channels! MY SATELLITEman has me set up on 0101 01 If I try to use 0101 00 i get zip! Does this mean that I have a software problem! When he comes he just wham bam plugs it into the laptop and 5 seconds later he is gone! never explains squat! I dont know if I need to wait for all my channels to go down and the new codes (not listed yet) to come out or if there is a simple fix that does not need a computer! I saw some stuff anout renaming the sat? Maybe that is something I need to do? Bare with me, In time I will learn ALL THIS but FOR NOW i just LEARNED HOW TO DO A DESTRUCTIVE RECOVERY ON MY DESKTOP! |

I can go to SAT Scan TP Scan Network Scan Blind Scan And I have options of scanning Sats: Blank Chans Echo 7@119 Sat-3 Echo 6,8 @110 Once I click on one of these Sats I have a list of 1-28. I chose Sat Scan 110 and clicked 1-28 and scanned each! Then i went to TP scan on 110 and clicked each of those. I know thats not correct! I guess do not know how to do a TP4 Scan! |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 2270 Registered: Jan-06 | U scan the satellites that U have LNB's on your roof aimed at....sounds like U don't have a LNB on the dish aimed at the 110 satellite....if U did, when U did the 110 scan, then TP 4 scan, U would have received those locals.. 1 LNB on roof dish receives 1 satellite 2 LNBs....gets 2 sats 3 LNB's... gets 3 sats 4 LNB's ...receives 4 sats That is where U start when doingbthis hobby...first put a dish on roof and aim the LNB's towrad the satellitesmU want...then make sure U are aimed correctly...U should get the FREE unscambled channels from each satellite U are CORRECTLY aimed at, BEFORE U add bins etc on the receiver..if U don't know how, there are a milliom satellite TV shopis inyour area that will come and align the disgh for U for a fee..suggest using the 110 and 119 satelites.. |

It will not be in the same location in your channel lineup as it was before. Look for it at the end of your channel list. I'd scan the sat myself to find it but my wifes watching ER. |

Even tho it shows as E 7, in the detailed info it says 110. how can i add a satellite if it is not already on the list ? Dumb questions. Sorry |

And do you have a channel list built for both 110 and 119 on your system? If no to the lnbs, get one. If no to the channel list, go to a REAL fta site and download one that includes both the 110 and 119 info. And by REAL I mean not that crazy kids site. |

Bronze Member Username: TinfishPost Number: 13 Registered: Apr-06 | I have two LNBs. Here's something else i found. All this is fascinating! on my satellite list there's a sat showing as SAT-46. When i do info on channels on it it says E 119. However the LNB type is Universal. When I select standard on it, the signal falls to 0. The TPs are on frequencies in the 10000s. Wow. I need to learn about channel lists. Let me do some reading. If you have any clue on the SAT-46 let me know. Thanks again. |

New member Username: GsmaxPost Number: 1 Registered: Apr-06 | I did a sat scan and got everything back on newest numbers, but somehow the channels are not grouped together like they used to be (ex. all hbo, sho, max were all together. Now they are all over. Tried to do a channel sort, but all I see is alphabetical, tp, sat, parental control sorts. Any idea how to get them back to where they were. I got used to the hbo's being at 300 and up, the ppv's at 501 and up...Any suggestions. Thanks |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 2327 Registered: Jan-06 | Works on all Pansat Series. Might take a few try's to get it to work. 1. Delete ALL channels on ird. 2. Go into SAT Edit and rename your Dish 110 to ECHO 110 and rename Dish 119 to ECHO 119. (the space between ECHO and 110 is important!) 3. do a BLIND scan on each sat, ECHO 110 & ECHO 119. (Takes At least 10 min per sat) 4. When complete, push SAT button on remote, you will now have a choice you have not previously had "ECHOSTAR PACKAGE" 5. Select ECHOSTAR PACKAGE and select any channel. This will convert EPG Button to ECHOSTAR PACKAGE and your epg will match match D**H Network channels. ( provided you are pointed at 110 and 119) After doing this, you will see there is no need to load a channel list and epg works fast on most channels, slow to come up on others. |

How do I decide which one to include to Echostar Package? |
