Monday, April 17, 2006 - 04:59 GMT Anyone have any information on the new Samsung with LED light source. Back in January they expected an April'06 shipping date. The Samsung HL-S5679W is an impressive 56-inch "LED light sourced DLP RPTV" that utilizes 18 LED (six each of red, blue, and green). Available in April 2006 for $3,999 (list), the HL-S5679W offers integrated ATSC and NTSC tuners as well as dual HDMI inputs that support 1080p sources.

Wednesday, April 26, 2006 - 02:42 GMT No it wasn't the LED DLP announced, it was a new LCD TV from Samsung. Rumor from Best Buy salesman is that LED DLP may not be on the market until the fall! ;-(
